Why published figures differ
Net-worth estimates are not the same as confirmed account balances or audited personal financial statements. Forbes estimated Schwarzenegger’s fortune at $1 billion in a 2024 profile, while TheStreet reported a later Forbes estimate of $1.2 billion as of July 2025. The figures differ by publisher and date, and the reviewed sources do not provide an equally current Forbes estimate for Stallone or an independently verified, same-date figure for either actor.
Forbes’ 2024 reporting illustrates the difficulty of pinning down a total: it attributed a nearly 5% stake in Dimensional Fund Advisors to Schwarzenegger and estimated the stake at nearly $500 million when the firm managed $718 billion. It also estimated his personal real estate at about $40 million. Those are reported components, not a complete public balance sheet. Forbes said Schwarzenegger’s longtime advisor declined to comment on his client’s net worth.

How their earnings and assets differ
Schwarzenegger: investments and business interests alongside film work
Schwarzenegger’s wealth is attributed to more than acting: reporting points to real estate, business interests, and investments. Forbes’ 2024 account also estimated about $500 million in movie earnings and profit participation before taxes and fees, with roughly $170 million remaining after taxes and fees. Those figures describe one earnings component and an estimated remainder, not his total net worth. Forbes quoted advisor Paul Wachter saying of the Dimensional Fund Advisors stake, “he has not ever sold one share and he never would”; that statement concerns the stake, not a verified total-wealth figure.
Stallone: substantial reported film compensation, but not Rocky ownership
Stallone’s reported income includes acting as well as writing, directing, and producing, alongside investments and real estate. Celebrity Net Worth calculates that selected publicly reported film compensation amounts to at least $360 million before inflation adjustment. That is an incomplete tally: it excludes unavailable salaries and other income, and it is not a net-worth total.
Stallone’s connection to the Rocky films should not be confused with personal ownership of the franchise. Celebrity Net Worth says he does not personally own it. A successful film series may generate value for rights holders without that value being a personal asset of its star.
