If you mean Sophie’s romantic kiss, the answer is Keefe Sencen, in Stellarlune (book 9). Sophie also kisses Dex Dizznee in Nightfall (book 6), but the author’s official curriculum guide presents that scene as non-romantic.
The short answer
The romantic kiss most readers are asking about happens between Sophie Foster and Keefe Sencen in Stellarlune. The official author page confirms that Stellarlune is installment 9 in the series, but it does not itself describe the kiss. The confirmation of the Sophie-Keefe kiss comes from a fan-maintained series wiki, whose Sophie, Keefe, and Fitz page lists the kiss in its Stellarlune section. Treat that as secondary, community-maintained information rather than an author-confirmed statement.
The Dex kiss in Nightfall
Sophie also kisses Dex in Nightfall, book 6. This is a separate plot event from the Keefe scene. The official Nightfall curriculum guide identifies the moment and frames it as non-romantic: its discussion prompt asks why Sophie kisses Dex even though she has no romantic feelings for him. Readers looking for a romantic answer should not count this scene.

Why Fitz is not the answer
Fitz Vacker is sometimes mentioned alongside these scenes, but the wiki describes only an earlier attempt by Fitz to kiss Sophie in Lodestar, and that attempt was interrupted. No completed kiss between Sophie and Fitz is recorded in the sources reviewed, so do not list him as the answer.
What the author has and has not said
Shannon Messenger’s FAQ answers the “Team Dex, Team Fitz, or Team Keefe?” question by saying she is “Team Sophie” and will not reveal which boy, if any, Sophie will choose. That is the author’s policy on unpublished outcomes at the time the FAQ was written, not a plot summary, and it does not deny the Keefe scene in Stellarlune.
Two kisses in the series do not, on their own, establish a final romantic partner. The official sources cited here confirm the scenes and the book order, but they do not establish a series endgame.
