Netflix named Steffi Brungs and Chris Wackert-Brungs as the hosts in its December 19, 2024 announcement for Season 1. Netflix’s December 2, 2025 Season 2 announcement confirmed that the married couple would host again.
What are the hosts’ full names?
Netflix Tudum identifies them as Stephanie “Steffi” Brungs and her husband, Christian Wackert. The season announcements use the names Steffi Brungs and Chris Wackert-Brungs. These are the forms Netflix uses in those respective sources.
What do the hosts do on the show?
The series follows German-speaking singles as they get to know one another in separate pods, hearing each other before meeting face to face. Netflix’s Season 1 announcement said 30 singles took part. That number refers to the announced Season 1 participant pool, not the number of couples featured or a count for later seasons.
