Meet Gus and George Morgan
- Augustus “Gus” Morgan is Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton’s son. A 2018 UPI report used the name Augustus, while later coverage commonly calls him Gus. UPI
- George Virginia Morgan is their daughter. Good Morning America identified her by her full name in 2020; more recent coverage generally refers to her as George. Good Morning America
TV Insider’s May 1, 2026 report identified Gus as 16 and George as 8. Those ages reflect the publication date. TV Insider
What the family has shared about filmmaking
In a 2026 interview, Morgan and Burton said that their children’s time around film sets helped spark their interest in filmmaking. The report also noted Gus’s casting in the upcoming series Sterling Point. TV Insider
The public reporting establishes the children’s names and family connection, but does not provide a basis for expanding on private details about them.

When did Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton marry?
Morgan and Burton married on October 5, 2019. Good Morning America reported that they had been together for about a decade before their wedding. Good Morning America
