Kenn is the middle Whitaker brother. Parade lists his film credits as Most Wanted (1997), Bulworth (1998), Life (1999), The Theory of the Leisure Class (2001), and Last Days (2001). The IMDb biography also identifies him as an actor and lists Bulworth, Most Wanted, and Life among his work.

Parade also reports that Kenn wrote and performed “I Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere” for the soundtrack of Strapped (1993), a film directed by Forest. The connection is one example of the brothers’ creative work intersecting beyond their family relationship.
Damon Whitaker’s film and television work
Damon, the youngest brother, is an actor and writer. Parade names Mr. Holland’s Opus (1995), Bird (1996), Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999), and First Daughter (2004) among his credits. It also lists The Lazarus Papers, Filly Brown, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Asian Connection, Triple Threat, Haphazard, and the series Strangely Tranquil. IMDb’s biography likewise describes him as an actor and writer and names First Daughter, Ghost Dog, and Mr. Holland’s Opus.

Parade reports that Forest and Damon played Charlie Parker at different ages in Bird, and that the brothers took younger-and-older versions of a character in Mr. Holland’s Opus and Ghost Dog as well. Forest directed Damon in First Daughter.
What Damon has said about growing up in an artistic family
At the 2012 premiere of One Warm Night, Damon told Parade: “I was raised in the arts, so my family has always been writing and painting and acting and singing.” He added, “It’s just natural for us. I’ve been acting since I was in kindergarten.” The comments offer Damon’s own description of the family’s creative environment.

Are Forest Whitaker and Omar Benson Miller related?
No. Parade notes that actor Omar Benson Miller is not related to Forest Whitaker and attributes the clarification to Miller’s 2008 interview. A resemblance between actors is not evidence of a family connection.
