Because published descriptions of the credential differ, the clearest common ground is that she graduated in 2025 and studied communications and journalism. The Daily Beast’s 2026 report also places her in the entertainment world.

Bravo quoted Rowan describing her relationship with her mother as “amazing.” In the same coverage, she joked, “She’s gonna hate me for saying this, but sometimes I am my mother’s babysitter.” Those remarks offer a glimpse of their public rapport, not a complete picture of their private family life.
Is Grier Henchy a model?
Grier has pursued modeling. In 2023, Shields discussed her daughter’s entry into the business and her own cautious reaction. Shields said young models had more protections than in the past, while describing the industry as “devastating”—her characterization of the risks, not a measured finding about every modeling job. Good Morning America reported on the conversation in April 2023.
The Daily Beast reported that Grier walked in Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring/Summer 2025 presentation at New York Fashion Week in 2024. That is a dated career milestone; it does not establish her current representation or future bookings. The Daily Beast’s report describes the presentation.
What has Brooke Shields said about motherhood and work?
In an Extra interview published May 6, 2026, Shields described the tension she felt while trying to give equal attention to work and parenting. She said she chose projects that would not interfere with her daughters’ schooling: “I thought that I could be equally engaged in both all the time, but what I found out very early was that if I did one, I was guilty about the other. If I did the other, I was worried about the other, and so I ended up choosing things and jobs that didn’t compromise your school.” Extra’s interview with Shields and Rowan includes the exchange, as well as Shields telling Rowan, “I’m just so proud of who you are.”
Shields has also described motherhood as her priority. These comments help explain how she approached parenting alongside a public career; they do not define the daughters’ own choices or plans.
How old are Brooke Shields’s daughters?
Ages in older profiles should be read as snapshots, not current figures. AARP The Magazine stated in 2024 that Rowan was 20 and Grier was 17 at the time. Those ages are not current, and the reviewed coverage does not establish primary-source birth dates, so they should not be used to calculate exact ages today.
