First, what does “24/7 YouTube streaming service” mean?
The phrase can refer to two different things:
- A YouTube membership: a paid subscription such as Premium or Music Premium. These are not continuous television schedules.
- A continuous YouTube livestream: a channel broadcasting video around the clock. This is not the same as buying a YouTube membership.
YouTube TV is a third, distinct product: a live-TV service whose paid-service terms describe it as offered to paying subscribers in the United States. It should not be treated as an Indian YouTube membership or a way to keep your own channel live.
Which YouTube memberships does YouTube list in India?

YouTube says Premium should be used predominantly in the country where it was purchased. It warns that misrepresenting location or trying to get around availability restrictions can result in cancellation. Check YouTube’s membership availability information for current country and plan details.
Which Indian payment methods can you use?
YouTube does not offer one universal payment-method list for every country and checkout route. Its guidance says: “Available payment methods vary by country and may be limited by your billing platform.” YouTube also notes that some countries require a payment method issued in that country.

The exact India-specific instrument list is not established here. Do not assume that a particular Indian card, UPI mandate, wallet, net-banking option or payment app will be accepted for every membership. Open the membership checkout while signed in and check the options it displays. If you subscribe through a third party such as Apple or Google Play, that platform may bill and administer the purchase; the options can therefore differ from YouTube’s own checkout.

How to check a plan before paying
- Confirm the product: decide whether you want Premium, Music Premium or Premium Lite. If you want live television, note that YouTube TV is a separate US service.
- Check availability and eligibility: review YouTube’s country availability page and the plans displayed in your account. Family plans are for eligible household members; student plans require full-time enrollment at an approved institution and annual eligibility verification.
- Open the actual checkout: use the billing route you intend to use and inspect its displayed payment methods before confirming. A general list from another country or platform may not apply.
- Verify the billing details: check the service, plan, billing platform and payment method shown on the confirmation screen before completing the purchase.
