For recurring day-and-time programming, Playout.video’s Scheduled Stream is the closest documented fit: its weekly calendar assigns videos, playlists, or compositions to recurring slots. A looping playlist is different: it repeats content in sequence but does not necessarily switch programs at a chosen clock time.
Choose a calendar scheduler for day-and-time changes
When a channel needs one program on weekday mornings and another in the evenings, look for a recurring calendar with clock-time slots—not just a playlist loop. Playout.video documents a Monday-to-Sunday grid with recurring blocks, making it the closest fit among the services reviewed for scheduling different content by day.
Playout’s June 8, 2026 feature article says blocks can contain a video, playlist, or composition and can be set to “Loop” or “Play Once.” It also describes fallback choices for gaps: a default playlist, standby video, slate, or black screen. While a stream is live, the article says edits take effect at the next slot transition. These are vendor-described features, not independent test results. Confirm YouTube destination support, account eligibility, plan limits, time-zone handling, and current pricing with Playout before relying on a schedule.
Playout’s author, M. Emin, describes the feature this way: “Create a new Scheduled Stream, drag videos, playlists, and compositions onto a weekly grid, and your channel runs itself, automatically, on the times you set, every week, forever.” Treat that as the vendor’s description, not a third-party performance guarantee.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
How the options differ
| Option | Documented use | Fit for recurring day-and-time programming | Check before choosing |
|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Cloud-based YouTube streaming of one uploaded video or an ordered playlist, with looping and automatic recovery | Good for a continuous loop; the reviewed guide does not establish recurring clock-aware daypart changes | Whether a newer feature supports recurring slot scheduling if that is essential; current plan and storage limits |
| Playout.video Scheduled Stream | Weekly calendar assigning videos, playlists, or compositions to recurring slots | Closest documented fit | YouTube destination support, account and plan limits, time-zone behavior, and current pricing |
| YouTube playlists and shows | Organizes videos into playlists, seasons, and episodes | Useful for organizing a series, but the reviewed help page does not document recurring wall-clock playback scheduling | Do not assume organization features automatically launch a weekly live schedule |
| Loop TV / MyLoop | Licensed business entertainment and signage campaigns scheduled by weekday and time window | Relevant to venue signage or Loop TV channel mixes, not established as a scheduler for a creator’s own YouTube videos | Whether the content source and screen setup meet the venue’s needs |
| screenTAP | Signage playlists assigned to screens by weekday and time-of-day rules | Adjacent signage use, not a confirmed YouTube live-loop solution | Its page lists £5 per screen per month; verify the current vendor-listed price and suitability |
What to verify in a weekly schedule
- Recurrence: Can slots repeat by weekday and clock time, or does the system only repeat a playlist in order?
- Slot content: Can each block use a single video, playlist, or other composition?
- Gaps and transitions: What plays if a slot is empty, and do edits take effect immediately or at the next transition?
- Destination and time zone: Is YouTube supported for your account and plan, and which time zone controls the calendar?
- Current terms: Confirm plan limits, storage, and pricing directly with the provider; feature descriptions do not establish current eligibility or terms.
Why a playlist loop may not meet the schedule
An ordered loop advances based on the duration of its media and when playback starts. It does not automatically mean “play this video at 9 a.m. every Monday.” StreamNeo’s scheduling guide makes that distinction and suggests using an exact-duration program or changing the live playlist at the desired boundary when exact timing matters. Check the current guide and behavior before building a schedule around that workaround.
StreamNeo documents cloud operation, ordered playlists, 24/7 looping, and automatic reconnection attempts after an interruption. Its service page says the stream can continue after you close the browser or switch off the computer. Those features make it a loop-first option, not a documented replacement for a recurring daypart calendar. Learn more at StreamNeo.

YouTube playlists and venue signage are different tools
YouTube organization
YouTube Help documents turning a playlist into a show and setting episode order using the playlist’s manual order or publication date. That helps organize a series; the reviewed help page does not describe a recurring weekly schedule that starts different videos at specified clock times.
Signage scheduling
MyLoop’s documentation describes weekday and time-window signage sets, with channel schedules built in 15-minute blocks. Channel changes wait until the current video finishes. This is a venue-signage workflow, not evidence that MyLoop schedules a creator’s own videos as YouTube live programming. Likewise, screenTAP describes scheduling playlists on screens; that adjacent signage use does not establish YouTube live-stream scheduling.
