This question is about a creator-side service that broadcasts uploaded recordings or playlists continuously as a YouTube livestream. It is not about YouTube Premium, a YouTube TV subscription, or paying to watch someone else’s stream. A provider’s prices in rupees or a plan described as prepaid do not, by themselves, establish that it accepts prepaid cards.

Its published pricing information does not identify exact payment methods or confirm prepaid-card acceptance, so inspect checkout before relying on the service.
Compare the details that matter before paying
Provider pages can help you shortlist a service, but only checkout and your issuer can resolve whether your exact card will work. Compare the plan and payment details for the term you intend to buy.

- Confirm that the service streams uploaded recordings continuously to YouTube, rather than offering a different kind of video or live-TV subscription.
- Check billing duration, whether payment is one-time or recurring, and what renewal requires.
- Compare the actual plan’s price, taxes, number of streams, storage, and supported quality; confirm these in the provider’s current checkout.
- Look for your payment method in checkout and ask the card issuer whether the card permits that online transaction and, if relevant, recurring payments.
Why Google Play payment rules do not settle the question
Google Play’s India payment rules apply when a purchase is billed through Google Play, not automatically to a third-party streaming service’s own checkout. Google lists Mastercard and Visa credit/debit cards, RuPay for one-time purchases only, Google Play balance, and UPI; its guidance also describes UPI AutoPay for recurring payments through a mandate and says netbanking was discontinued on Google Play from October 2025. Google describes prepaid plans as fixed-duration subscriptions that do not renew automatically, while noting that not all apps offer them. That distinction is useful when assessing billing behavior, but it does not establish the billing or card rules of either provider. Google’s prepaid-subscription guidance applies to Google Play subscriptions.

Check your card before committing
- Choose the provider, plan, and term you actually intend to buy.
- Open that plan’s checkout and check which payment methods it offers, what the final charge includes, and whether the charge is one-time or recurring.
- Ask your card issuer whether your particular prepaid card allows that online payment and, if the plan involves recurring billing, whether it supports the required mandate.
- If the method is missing, the issuer disallows the transaction, or recurring billing is unsupported, do not assume a different Google Play rule or a “prepaid” plan label will solve it. Ask the provider about available payment methods or choose a plan and service whose checkout supports your card.
