Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Short answer: Gyre is the clearest documented service for continuously looping prerecorded videos as YouTube live streams, but the available product documentation does not confirm that it preserves embedded subtitles or accepts external subtitle files. If selectable YouTube captions are essential, verify the caption path with the provider or a test stream before subscribing. YouTube’s caption tools for uploaded videos and its automatic live captions are separate features; neither establishes how a streaming service handles captions during a continuous broadcast.
What “subtitles” means for a YouTube live stream
First decide whether viewers need selectable captions they can turn on in YouTube’s player, or subtitles permanently burned into the video image. Selectable captions are a timed text track. Burned-in subtitles are part of the pixels in the video itself. A service could preserve one kind and not the other, so ask about the exact result you need.
For a selectable track, the key question is whether the streaming service can carry an embedded subtitle track or accept a timed sidecar file, such as an SRT or VTT, and deliver it to YouTube during the live stream. For burned-in subtitles, check the video itself before uploading: if the text is visible in the picture, it is not dependent on a separate caption track.
Which services are documented for prerecorded YouTube streams?
For true continuous looping, Gyre is the strongest documented match in the sources available: YouTube’s verified encoder directory describes it as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 live streaming of prerecorded YouTube videos. Gyre’s product page describes uploading videos, creating a looping playlist, connecting a YouTube account, and running the playlist continuously.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
That establishes the prerecorded 24/7 workflow, not subtitle compatibility. The reviewed Gyre documentation does not say whether it accepts external timed subtitle files, preserves embedded subtitle tracks, or provides caption controls. That omission does not prove the feature is impossible, but it means Gyre should not be described as supporting selectable subtitles without confirmation.
StreamNeo is another cloud option for keeping prerecorded videos live on YouTube: upload a recording or playlist, add the YouTube stream key, and start the stream. It loops uploaded video from the cloud, but the available StreamNeo product facts do not establish support for selectable subtitle tracks. If using StreamNeo, ask the team or test the exact caption workflow you require before relying on it.

Other services document adjacent, narrower capabilities:
- Restream: Its documentation covers prerecorded scheduled events and, separately, embedded CEA-608/708 captions for normal-latency YouTube streams sent through RTMP or SRT when captions are enabled in the encoder and YouTube channel settings. The reviewed pages do not confirm that embedded captions work in Restream’s Upload & Stream prerecorded-event workflow, or that it provides unlimited 24/7 looping. Treat it as an option for finite prerecorded events unless that combination is verified.
- StreamYard: It supports scheduled prerecorded broadcasts that start and end automatically. Its help documentation says it does not have built-in captions for live streams and points to captions supplied by destination platforms such as YouTube. The reviewed information does not document continuous 24/7 looping.
YouTube captions: uploaded videos versus live streams
Captions on uploaded videos
YouTube Studio lets creators add subtitles or captions to uploaded videos by uploading a timed file, auto-syncing a transcript, or entering captions manually. YouTube also generates automatic captions for some uploaded long-form videos and Shorts. They may take time to appear and can misrecognize speech, so review and edit them where needed. These are capabilities for uploaded videos; they do not confirm that a separate service will carry those tracks into a live stream.

- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)

Automatic captions during a live stream
YouTube documents automatic live captions as English-only, subject to availability for eligible English channels, and limited to individual streams using normal latency. YouTube states: “After the live stream ends, live automatic captions won’t remain on the video.” A separate caption track is generated for the resulting video-on-demand through YouTube’s VOD process. Do not assume that captions visible during the broadcast will remain on the archive.
How to verify subtitle support before choosing a service
- Specify the result. Tell the provider whether you need selectable YouTube captions, burned-in text, or both. For selectable captions, ask explicitly about embedded tracks and external timed caption files.
- Ask about the entire route. Confirm whether the track reaches YouTube during a continuous 24/7 stream, whether viewers can select it in the live player, and whether it remains on the archived video after the stream ends. Do not treat support for encoder-based live streams as proof that an uploaded-video workflow supports captions.
- Run a short test stream. Use a video with a known embedded subtitle track and, if the service claims to support them, a separate timed caption file. Check the live player’s CC menu and subtitle display, then inspect the resulting VOD after the stream ends.
- Check burned-in subtitles separately. Play the uploaded file directly and confirm that the text is visible in the picture. This tests the video image, not a selectable YouTube caption track.
For Gyre, direct confirmation or a test is especially important because the reviewed product page describes the continuous playlist workflow but not subtitle-file handling. Apply the same end-to-end check to any service whose documentation describes captions and prerecorded streaming as separate features.
