The two films were A Family Affair and Trigger Warning. BGR’s July 2, 2024 article placed them at No. 1 and No. 4, respectively, on its U.S. Netflix movie chart for that Tuesday. The ranking was a dated snapshot—not a claim about today’s chart or every country.
Which movies did the headline mean?
BGR’s headline, “These 2 Netflix Movies Are Embarrassingly Bad, But They’re Still In The Top 5 Today,” referred to A Family Affair and Trigger Warning. “Today” meant Tuesday, July 2, 2024, the publication date of the article and the date of the U.S. Top 10 list it cited. BGR’s July 2, 2024 article ranked A Family Affair No. 1 and Trigger Warning No. 4.

Are either film in the Top 5 now?
Not in the later U.S. weekly chart snapshot covering September 28–October 4, 2026: neither title appears on that list. Netflix Tudum’s official Top 10 charts are dated and country-specific, and Netflix notes that some titles may not be available in every region. A title missing from a chart is not proof that it cannot be streamed. The sources cited here do not establish either film’s current U.S. availability.
