Patrick Mahomes’s mother, Randi Martin, brother, Jackson Mahomes, and sister, Mia Randall, posed for a photo with Donald Trump in his suite during Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025. His wife, Brittany Mahomes, was not part of that meet-and-greet. The photo and its reported caption do not establish the family members’ political views or why they stopped by.
Who was in the photo?
Contemporaneous reports identified three of Patrick Mahomes’s relatives: his mother, Randi Martin; his brother, Jackson Mahomes; and his sister, Mia Randall. Brittany Mahomes was not present for this specific meet-and-greet, according to The Daily Beast.
When and where did they meet Trump?
The photo was taken in Trump’s suite at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans during Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9, 2025. The game was between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Sports Illustrated reported the family posed with Trump in the first half; the Associated Press likewise reported that Mahomes’s mother, brother, and sister posed with him before he left the game after halftime. The White House’s photo gallery confirms Trump’s attendance, the venue, and the date.
What did the photo caption say?
Trump communications adviser Margo Martin posted the caption: “Patrick Mahomes family stops by to say hello to President @realDonaldTrump.” That wording describes the visit; it does not explain the relatives’ motives or establish a political endorsement.

What the photo does—and does not—show
The image documents a brief encounter at the game. It is not evidence, by itself, of a formal meeting, shared political views, or support for Trump. Patrick Mahomes separately said before the game that it was “cool” to play in front of a sitting president, but that pregame remark does not establish his relatives’ reasons for posing.
