That is a reported roster, not a definitive cancellation list issued by HGTV. Battle on the Beach is a separate case: despite an early claim that it was canceled, HGTV announced a new season for 2026.
Which HGTV shows were reportedly canceled in 2025?
Contemporaneous coverage identified four shows in a wave of cancellations reported in June 2025. Later reporting added two more titles to the list. The accounts drew on host announcements and follow-up coverage; HGTV did not publish one exhaustive list confirming all six.
| Show | Reported status | What the reporting establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Bargain Block | Reported canceled in June 2025 | Included in Realtor.com’s June 26, 2025 report on four shows. Realtor.com, June 26, 2025. |
| Married to Real Estate | Reported canceled in June 2025 | Included in the same contemporaneous report. Realtor.com, June 26, 2025. |
| Farmhouse Fixer | Reported canceled in June 2025 | Included in the same contemporaneous report. Realtor.com, June 26, 2025. |
| Izzy Does It | Reported canceled in June 2025 | Included in the same contemporaneous report. Realtor.com, June 26, 2025. |
| Christina on the Coast | Included in later 2025 reporting as cut | Identified in Realtor.com’s October 28, 2025 retrospective coverage; the roster remains a report, not a complete official network ledger. Realtor.com, October 28, 2025. |
| The Flipping El Moussas | Included in later 2025 reporting as cut | Identified in the same October 2025 coverage. Realtor.com, October 28, 2025. |
These reports support saying the six shows were reported canceled or reported cut. They do not establish a complete list of every cancellation allegation across HGTV’s history.
Was Battle on the Beach canceled?
It should not be counted among confirmed cancellations. Alison Victoria described the show as canceled in 2025, but Ty Pennington later told TV Insider that the reported cancellation had never been official. HGTV subsequently announced a new season slated for 2026, with Sarah Baeumler, Mika Kleinschmidt and Pennington as mentors. What does “canceled” mean when a show disappears from a schedule?
A show missing from a schedule or a list of upcoming seasons is not necessarily canceled. These are different kinds of evidence:

- Reported canceled: A host’s public statement or credible follow-up report says the show was cut. The six titles above belong in this category based on 2025 coverage, rather than on a single comprehensive HGTV announcement.
- Not renewed or not currently listed: This describes what has—or has not—been announced or scheduled. On its own, it does not prove a cancellation.
- Officially announced season: A specific network season announcement confirms that a series is returning for the stated season. HGTV’s 2026 announcement puts Battle on the Beach in this category.
HGTV’s What’s Airing page is useful for checking current and upcoming programming, but it is a schedule, not a historical cancellation record. A specific season announcement is stronger evidence that a show has been ordered for that season; neither source is a complete renewal-versus-cancellation ledger.
What has HGTV said about its programming slate?
On August 21, 2025, HGTV and Warner Bros. Discovery announced over 100 episodes of original programming for the 2025–2026 slate, including new seasons of The Flip Off, Love It or List It and Renovation Aloha. The “over 100 episodes” figure describes the announced slate, not the number of shows canceled. HGTV / Warner Bros. Discovery’s August 21, 2025 announcement.

The announcement named selected programming; it did not claim to list every returning or canceled show. It therefore cannot resolve the status of every title absent from its slate.
Why were the shows canceled?
The available accounts do not establish a specific HGTV-given reason for each show’s reported end. They do not support attributing a particular cancellation to ratings, production costs, budgets or network strategy. Without a show-specific explanation from the network or a reliably sourced account, the reason remains unconfirmed.

How to check a favorite show’s status
- Check HGTV’s current What’s Airing page for scheduled or upcoming programming.
- Look for an official HGTV season announcement for the title. A named season order confirms that season, while an omission alone does not prove cancellation.
- When relying on cancellation coverage, note its date and whether it reports a host’s statement or an official network announcement. In the 2025 cases above, the published roster comes from reporting rather than one comprehensive HGTV list.
There is no authoritative all-years list established here of every HGTV show ever alleged to have been canceled. The clearest answer is limited to the six shows identified in 2025 reporting and the later clarification that Battle on the Beach was not officially canceled before its 2026 season announcement.
