There is no reliable confirmation that Steven Spielberg personally pilots exactly two aircraft. Reports associate him with several jets and a helicopter, but they conflict—and none of the sources reviewed directly establishes that he flies them himself. “Flies” may mean piloting an aircraft or travelling as a passenger; the available reporting does not settle either question for a particular flight.
What aircraft have been associated with Spielberg?
Published lists do not agree on a definitive pair. The aircraft named in the reports include a Gulfstream G700, a Gulfstream G650 or G650ER, a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter and a Boeing 737 BBJ.
| Aircraft or registration | What the source reports | What that establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Gulfstream G700 (N700KS), 2016 Gulfstream G650, and Sikorsky S-76 | Private Jet Card Comparisons lists these as Spielberg’s aircraft. | A secondary report associates Spielberg with the aircraft; it does not confirm that he pilots them. |
| Gulfstream G650ER (N900KS) | AceJet describes N900KS as “likely G650ER” and lists TVPX Aircraft Solutions Inc. Trustee as its registrant. SlashGear also describes N900KS as a G650ER associated with Spielberg. | A reported aircraft association and a trustee registration do not identify who pilots or occupies a particular flight. |
| Boeing 737 BBJ | Limitless Sky names this as another aircraft associated with Spielberg. | This attribution differs from the list above and was not independently confirmed in the reviewed material. |
Why the reports do not answer who flies them
An aircraft can be associated with a person without that person being its pilot or passenger on a given trip. Registration through a trustee also does not, by itself, establish who owns, operates, pilots or boards the aircraft. AceJet explicitly cautions that “Aircraft ownership does not mean Steven Spielberg is aboard every flight.”
The sources reviewed provide no first-person statement from Spielberg, direct confirmation from a pilot or representative, or other direct evidence that he personally pilots any of the listed aircraft. They also do not verify which aircraft he may have travelled on for a specific flight.

Why one definitive pair would be misleading
The lists may reflect different dates, aircraft configurations, ownership structures or reporting errors; the available sources do not resolve which explanation applies. One report names a G700, a 2016 G650 and a Sikorsky S-76, while other coverage identifies N900KS as a likely G650ER or adds a Boeing 737 BBJ. The G650ER is an extended-range variant of the G650, as described by Aviation Week, but that aircraft distinction does not verify Spielberg’s relationship to either plane.
So the accurate answer to the title is that current reporting does not substantiate the premise that Spielberg personally flies exactly two aircraft. It provides inconsistent associations, not a confirmed two-aircraft list or proof of personal piloting.
