Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found in the bedroom of their home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, according to reports attributing the location detail to LAPD Assistant Chief Dominic Choi. The Los Angeles Times described it as their bedroom; Fox News called it the primary bedroom.
Where were Rob and Michele Reiner found?
At a December 16, 2025, meeting of the Los Angeles Board of Police Commissioners, Assistant Chief Dominic Choi was reported to have confirmed that the couple were found in a bedroom at their Brentwood home. The Los Angeles Times report says “their bedroom,” while Fox News uses “primary bedroom.” Both accounts place the discovery at the Reiners’ home in Brentwood, a neighborhood in Los Angeles.

The location detail is attributed to Choi in the reporting; neither cited article supplies a direct verbatim statement from him about the bedroom. It is therefore more accurate to describe what he was reported to have confirmed than to present a reconstructed quotation.
What the reports establish—and what they do not
The two reports agree on the central point: the Reiners were found in a bedroom in their Brentwood home. Their wording differs slightly, but the distinction between “their bedroom” and “primary bedroom” does not change the reported location.

Fox News also reported criminal-charge and investigation developments in December 2025. Those reports describe allegations and procedural events, not a finding of guilt, and do not establish the case’s status as of October 8, 2026.
