Was the forest Coop filmed on location?
The Coop combines studio construction and a forest exterior. Shyamalan said the interior was built on a soundstage so the production could control the lighting, while an exterior shell was built in the forest where the Coop was meant to stand. The interview does not identify the soundstage as a particular studio or name the forest site. The available sources therefore do not establish a precise public address for the Coop scenes.

Is the western Ireland forest a real filming location?
The story places Mina in an untouched forest in western Ireland. That is the film’s fictional setting; it does not prove that a particular named forest there was used for production. The director’s account instead identifies Wicklow as the main filming region and Galway as an additional location.
