Bridgerton was filmed at real heritage houses, palace settings, museums, parks and streets across England. The clearest answer to “Where is the Bridgerton house?” is Ranger’s House in Greenwich, whose exterior stands in for the family home. Bath supplies a compact group of Georgian street and building locations, while several grand fictional residences—including Queen Charlotte’s palace—combine more than one real site. Filming use does not guarantee that a building or estate is open to visitors.
Where was Bridgerton filmed?
The series uses locations in London and Greenwich, Bath, and a range of country estates and palaces. The buildings play specific roles rather than serving as one-to-one real-world versions of every fictional address: an exterior may come from one property and interiors from another.
This guide covers the major named locations identified by official tourism, venue and production sources; it is not a complete production log for every scene, season, studio or filming unit. For travel planning, distinguish public streets and park views from ticketed museums, private homes and operational sites.
London and Greenwich locations
Ranger’s House: the Bridgerton family-home exterior
Ranger’s House, on the edge of Greenwich Park, is the recognizable exterior of the fictional Bridgerton family home. The family’s onscreen address is not the real address: the filming location is this historic house in Greenwich. VisitBritain says Ranger’s House contains the Wernher Collection, with more than 700 works; its location guide does not date that figure. VisitBritain’s Bridgerton filming locations guide has venue context, but check the house’s own visitor information before making plans.

Old Royal Naval College: market and street scenes
The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich appears in season two as a market and as a street outside the Featherington home. VisitBritain also identifies it as a location in Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte. It is a separate Greenwich stop from Ranger’s House, and its visitor access and opening arrangements should be checked with the venue.
Lancaster House and Hampton Court Palace: a composite royal palace
Lancaster House in Westminster supplied interiors for Queen Charlotte’s palace and scenes representing Buckingham Palace. Hampton Court Palace provided palace exteriors. The fictional royal residence is therefore not one real building: its onscreen identity draws on multiple locations. VisitBritain’s location guide identifies Lancaster House’s role; the Historic Royal Palaces Bridgerton audio guide page describes the Hampton Court experience.
Bath: Georgian streets and buildings
Bath stands in for Georgian London, and its central locations make the strongest compact walking cluster in this guide. Streets and façades can be viewed from public areas, but an exterior filming location does not mean visitors can enter the building or see the filmed rooms.

Abbey Green and The Abbey Deli
The Abbey Deli at Abbey Green stands in for the Modiste dress shop in the first two seasons. Visit Bath says visitors can stop for afternoon tea and buy Bridgerton-inspired merchandise there. Check the business’s current opening details before visiting. Visit Bath’s Bridgerton guide also links to location and themed itinerary information.

The exterior of No.1 Royal Crescent represents the Featherington home. The museum inside is furnished to evoke Bath life from 1776 to 1796, according to VisitBritain; it is a museum with its own interpretation, not the Featherington interiors. VisitBritain’s location guide gives the museum period.
The wider Royal Crescent and its setting also feature in Bath’s filming story. Visit Bath describes the crescent as 30 Grade I listed terraced houses built between 1767 and 1775. The view of the crescent is distinct from admission to No.1’s museum. Visit Bath’s Bath filming locations article provides the local context.
Rank #3
Bath Street and Edward Street
Bath Street appears in street scenes. For season three, filming took place around the junction of Edward Street and Great Pulteney Street. These are public-street locations; take care not to obstruct residents, businesses or traffic while looking for filming views. Visit Bath’s filming locations article identifies both areas.
The Holburne Museum: Lady Danbury’s home exterior
The Holburne Museum façade plays Lady Danbury’s grand home. Visit Bath reports that it appears in the first three seasons and, in an article written ahead of season four, said it was due to reprise the role in that season. That is a source-dated statement about the planned production, not a claim that the museum interior represents the fictional home. See Visit Bath’s location article for its filming account and consult the museum’s own site for current visitor arrangements.

Netflix identifies Bath Assembly Rooms as the ballroom at Queen Charlotte’s Danbury estate. Visit Bath separately names the Guildhall Banqueting Room as a ball-scene location. These are two distinct venues, not alternate names for one ballroom. Netflix’s season-three filming locations guide and Queen Charlotte locations guide identify the Assembly Rooms; Visit Bath’s Bath guide identifies the Guildhall.

Stately homes, palaces and estates beyond Bath
Castle Howard: Clyvedon Castle
Castle Howard in North Yorkshire represents Clyvedon Castle, the Duke of Hastings’ estate. The screen setting draws on the house and its surrounding parkland; it is not a real estate called Clyvedon. VisitBritain describes Castle Howard’s architecture as having taken more than 100 years to complete, without dating that statement in its guide. For current access, opening dates and visitor arrangements, use VisitBritain’s location guide as a starting point and check Castle Howard’s official visitor information.
Wilton House: several palace interiors
Wilton House in Wiltshire supplies multiple lavish interiors. Netflix’s season-two guide assigns rooms to St James’s Palace and Buckingham Palace; its Queen Charlotte guide identifies the St James’s Palace sitting room and tearoom at Wilton House and also names it as the interior of Untere Schloss. One real house therefore serves several fictional settings. See Netflix’s season-two and later locations guide and Queen Charlotte guide for those role assignments.
Hampton Court Palace: courtyards, stairs and gardens
In addition to palace exteriors, Hampton Court Palace supplies several recognizable Bridgerton filming settings. Historic Royal Palaces lists Master Carpenter’s Court, Fountain Court, Clock Court, Base Court, the King’s Stairs and the gardens among the locations. Its Film and TV Location Audio Guide includes Bridgerton features and is included with a palace ticket, according to the venue’s guide page. Ticket terms and opening times can change, so verify them on the official audio guide page and palace visitor pages before travelling.

Other named homes and estates
- Hatfield House: an interior used for the Bridgertons’ London residence in season two.
- Syon House: a season-two ball setting and interiors in Queen Charlotte.
- Dorney Court: the early Danbury home in Queen Charlotte.
- Badminton Estate: identified for Danbury-estate scenes in Queen Charlotte.
- Firle Place: represents the Ledger estate.
Netflix’s Bridgerton locations guide and Queen Charlotte locations guide identify these production roles. Filming use alone does not establish that a property is open to the public; check each estate’s own visitor information.
Windsor Great Park and RAF Halton
Netflix describes Windsor Great Park as the woods outside Aubrey Hall and a setting for Anthony and Kate scenes. It is a park, not a stately house. RAF Halton supplied Bridgerton House’s grand hall, but it is an operational site; appearing on screen does not mean it is open for casual visits. The locations are listed in Netflix’s filming locations guide.

Use the filming roles to decide what is practical to see, rather than treating every onscreen address as a visitor attraction. The table distinguishes city walking areas from venues that require separate access checks.
| Cluster | Locations and onscreen roles | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Central Bath | Abbey Green / The Abbey Deli (Modiste); No.1 Royal Crescent (Featherington exterior and museum); Bath Street and Edward Street (street scenes); Holburne Museum (Lady Danbury’s exterior); Assembly Rooms and Guildhall (separate ball venues) | A compact group of streets and buildings. Public street views differ from admission to museums or interiors. Confirm venue access and hours with the relevant official pages. |
| Greenwich | Ranger’s House (Bridgerton family-home exterior); Old Royal Naval College (market and Featherington-area street scenes) | Two named locations in the same broad part of London, but distinct attractions with separate visitor arrangements. |
| Westminster and Hampton Court | Lancaster House (royal-palace interiors); Hampton Court Palace (palace exteriors and multiple courts, stairs and gardens) | Different sites with complementary screen roles; Hampton Court has a visitor audio guide featuring the series. |
| Country estates and parks | Castle Howard, Wilton House, Hatfield House, Syon House, Dorney Court, Badminton Estate, Firle Place, Windsor Great Park | Scattered across different regions and access types; check each property or park’s official visitor information rather than assuming filming locations are open. |
No comparable current admission prices or opening-hour schedule is established here. Those details change by venue and date, so check official visitor pages before setting out. Visit Bath links a self-guided filming-location roundup and themed itinerary ideas from its Bridgerton guide.
