There is no verified free legal stream of One Piece Film: Red in the U.S. as of August 18, 2026. The 2022 film is listed on Netflix and Crunchyroll for subscribers; eligible Crunchyroll users may be offered a seven-day trial. For one viewing without a subscription, digital rentals are listed at about $3.99. Prices and availability can change.
Is One Piece Film: Red free to stream?
No free, ad-supported or library-based legal streaming option was identified in the U.S. listing checked on August 18, 2026. JustWatch lists the film without a free streaming option: check the current U.S. availability on JustWatch.
“Free” can mean different things here. Netflix Standard with Ads is a paid plan, not a free stream. A Crunchyroll trial may let eligible users watch without an upfront charge during the trial, but it automatically renews unless canceled. Access through an existing Netflix or Crunchyroll subscription does not involve a separate film rental, but the subscription itself is not free.
This is the 2022 feature film, approximately 118 minutes long and rated PG-13 on the U.S. listing—not the One Piece series, another franchise film, or the live-action show.

Where can you stream it in the U.S.?
The current U.S. listing names Netflix, Crunchyroll, and the Crunchyroll Amazon Channel as subscription options. Confirm that the title appears in your account and region before subscribing: catalog rights can change, and a channel subscription is separate from standard Prime membership.
| Option | Access and observed cost | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Netflix | Subscription; listed on Netflix, including the paid Standard with Ads tier. No film-specific price established. | People who already subscribe to Netflix. |
| Crunchyroll | Subscription; the U.S. Premium page lists Fan at $9.99/month, Mega Fan at $13.99/month, and Ultimate Fan at $17.99/month, before applicable taxes. Eligible users may be offered a seven-day trial. | Anime viewers who want more than this one film. |
| Crunchyroll Amazon Channel | Separate channel access through Prime Video; a channel price was not established here. It is not automatically included with standard Prime. | Viewers who prefer to manage the add-on and playback in Prime Video. |
Netflix has an official title page. Crunchyroll plan and trial details are on its official Premium page. Those pages and the JustWatch listing can help you confirm current access before paying.

Can you use a Crunchyroll free trial?
Possibly. Crunchyroll advertises a seven-day trial for new and eligible subscribers; eligibility and offers vary. Its Premium page says plans renew automatically after the trial unless canceled, at the selected plan’s price. Check that the film is available in your region and note the renewal date and price before starting.
- Open the Crunchyroll Premium page and check whether a trial is offered to your account.
- Confirm that One Piece Film: Red is in the catalog for your region before beginning the trial.
- Review the selected plan, billing date, and renewal price, then start the trial only if you accept those terms.
- If you do not want a paid plan, cancel before renewal through the same provider you used to subscribe—Crunchyroll directly or the relevant app-store or channel billing provider—and keep the cancellation confirmation.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If no trial is offered, do not assume another account will qualify; compare the rental price instead.

What is the cheapest way to watch it once?
A digital rental is the lowest-priced listed one-time option: JustWatch shows rentals at about $3.99 through Amazon Video and Apple TV Store, and lists Fandango At Home as another rental source. The price is an observed U.S. listing, not a guaranteed checkout price.
Amazon’s surfaced U.S. listing showed an HD rental at $3.99 and an HD purchase at $14.99. Prices and editions may vary, so compare the final price, video quality, and language options before paying. See the Amazon listing, or search the official Apple TV Store and Fandango At Home catalogs.
Which option makes sense for you?
- Already pay for Netflix: Check Netflix first; the film is listed there in the U.S.
- Already have Crunchyroll: Search its catalog before renting elsewhere.
- Want one viewing and no subscription: Compare digital rental checkout prices, starting from the roughly $3.99 listing.
- Want a wider anime catalog: Compare Crunchyroll’s current plan cost and trial terms with what you already subscribe to.
- Want repeat access: Compare digital purchase prices and physical DVD or Blu-ray availability. Digital purchases remain subject to the retailer’s account and platform terms.
- Want a permanent free stream: No verified legal free listing was found in the U.S. check. A future licensed offer could change that.
Dub, subtitles, and device compatibility
The U.S. listing indicates English and Japanese audio availability on some services, but tracks and subtitles can differ by platform and edition. Before subscribing, renting, or buying, open the specific title page and check for the English dub, Japanese audio, English subtitles, desired video quality, and supported devices. Do not assume that Netflix, Crunchyroll, Amazon, Apple, and Fandango offer identical versions or 4K playback.
Does availability differ outside the U.S.?
Yes. The services and prices above refer to U.S. availability checked August 18, 2026; streaming rights are territorial. A U.S. listing does not establish availability in Canada, the U.K., Australia, India, or another country. Check the local JustWatch page and the catalogs of local licensed services before subscribing or renting.
