There is no verified announcement in the available official sources that a new Macross title will arrive on Disney+ or Hulu “next week.” Instead, Hulu already lists several Macross entries, while an official Macross page lists Disney+ for the film Do You Remember Love? in its market context. Streaming availability depends on the specific installment and country.
Is Macross coming to Disney+ or Hulu next week?
No dated, title-specific announcement in the official sources cited here confirms a Macross launch next week. Disney’s official schedule covers September 2026 and contains no Macross entry; that schedule does not establish what may be added after September. Disney’s September 2026 schedule therefore cannot verify the headline’s future-release claim.

Hulu’s catalog already has Macross listings, so those pages are evidence of existing catalog entries—not a newly scheduled arrival. A listing for one series or film also does not mean the rest of the franchise is available on the same service.
Which Macross titles are listed on Hulu?
Macross 7
Hulu’s title page lists Macross 7 as a 1995 animated series and describes a 52-episode season. Check the Hulu listing for Macross 7 for the current service page.

Other entries on Hulu’s STAR+ Original network page
Hulu’s STAR+ Original network page lists Macross Plus, Macross Frontier, Macross Delta: Zettai Live!!!!!!, and The Super Dimension Fortress Macross II: Lovers Again. The page is a catalog listing, not a release announcement, and its presence alone does not establish availability in every market.
Is Macross on Disney+?
The official Macross page for Do You Remember Love? lists Disney+ under subscription streaming. It identifies the film as a theatrical reworking of the original TV series. Treat this as a title-specific listing with the page’s market context, not proof that Disney+ carries the film everywhere—or that it carries every Macross series. See the official Do You Remember Love? page.
How to check where a particular Macross installment is streaming
- Choose the exact installment and format. A series, film, and OVA are distinct catalog entries; do not infer availability for one from a listing for another.
- Check the service catalog for your country or region. Open the exact Hulu or Disney+ title page in the market where you intend to watch. Catalog pages can change.
- Confirm the listing is current and playable. A franchise or network page may show a title without establishing that it is currently available to every subscriber in every territory.
Why Macross availability can be complicated
Macross is a franchise of separate series and films, not a single streaming title. The official page describes Do You Remember Love? as a theatrical reinterpretation of the original television series, featuring characters including Lynn Minmay, Hikaru Ichijō, Misa Hayase, and Roy Focker, as well as the SDF-1 Macross and VF-1S Valkyrie. A film listing therefore answers a narrower question than whether the whole saga is available.
Rights history is relevant context, but it does not provide a current service-by-service exclusion list. In a March 1, 2021 announcement, Big West, Studio Nue, and Harmony Gold USA said they had reached a global Macross/Robotech agreement and described cooperation on distribution. The announcement also discussed Harmony Gold’s longstanding exclusive license with Tatsunoko for use of 41 Macross characters and mecha in the Robotech television series and related merchandise outside Japan. It does not establish which Macross titles are currently unavailable on US services.
