Digital prices and purchase terms can change by storefront, so check the listing on the service you normally use before paying. The film is also listed by JustWatch’s U.S. guide with these options.

- Conjured up by some unsuspecting pranksters, a tricky trio of 300-year-old witches set out to cast a spell on the town and reclaim their youth. But first, they must get their act together and outwit three kids and a talking cat.
How to watch Hocus Pocus 2
Hocus Pocus 2 is available on Disney+ in the United States. It is a Disney+ original movie, and the current U.S. listing does not show a verified option to rent or buy it separately through a digital storefront.
That means older pages claiming the sequel is on Netflix, Max, Hulu, or a free streaming service should not be relied on without checking a current listing. JustWatch’s U.S. page for Hocus Pocus 2 currently lists Disney+ as the streaming destination, with no free-streaming or transactional option verified.
Will Freeform show the films for Halloween?
Freeform has included both movies in its annual 31 Nights of Halloween programming. The network aired a double feature in 2025, but a verified 2026 schedule is not available in the published listings checked for this guide.

Freeform’s schedule can change, and a television broadcast is different from an on-demand stream: it includes commercial breaks and may use a TV-edited version. For a specific viewing time—or to watch either film without waiting for a broadcast—Disney+ is the dependable option.

What to check before you start watching
- Confirm your country. The availability above is for the United States. Streaming rights and digital storefronts vary by country.
- Search the exact title. Choose Hocus Pocus (1993) or Hocus Pocus 2 (2022), since the two films have separate listings.
- Check the version. A Freeform broadcast may be edited for television, while the Disney+ listing is the on-demand version.
- Compare payment options for the original. If you do not have Disney+, check Amazon Video, Apple TV Store, or Fandango At Home for the one-time rental or purchase option.
Recommended viewing order
Watch Hocus Pocus first, followed by Hocus Pocus 2. The sequel brings back the Sanderson sisters and works as a continuation of the 1993 story, so the original provides the character and story context before the newer film.
