Netflix’s accessed U.S. title page listed English audio, English audio description, Spanish (Latin America) audio, and English and Spanish subtitles. Audio, subtitle, and accessibility choices can differ by country, account, device, or app version, so check the options shown on your Netflix player before starting the film.
Rent or buy Heart Eyes digitally
If you do not have Netflix, or if you want to watch the movie without adding a subscription, the current U.S. availability information lists these transactional options:
- Amazon Video: rent or buy the digital movie.
- Apple TV Store: rent or purchase, where offered on your account.
- Fandango At Home: rent or buy on demand.
Sony’s official film information also lists Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango, DIRECTV, Verizon Fios, YouTube, Sony Pictures Core, Kaleidescape, and Fanflix among the film’s digital destinations. Storefront availability does not necessarily mean that the movie is included at no extra cost with a subscription. In particular, “available on Prime Video” can refer to a rental or purchase listing rather than a title included with the Prime catalog.

Prefer to own it?
The Heart Eyes Blu-ray + Digital edition is the best fit for viewers who want a physical copy, a giftable movie release, or access that does not depend on the film remaining in a streaming catalog. Sony confirms Blu-ray availability, and the researched Target listing gives the Blu-ray + Digital Copy edition an April 15, 2025 street date.
The available research confirms a Blu-ray with a digital copy, but does not establish that this release is 4K UHD. Do not choose a 4K-compatible player or expect a 4K disc based solely on the title’s Blu-ray listing. Retail inventory and delivery dates can change, so verify the edition and stock status before ordering. If you purchase through a retailer link on this page, the site may receive compensation at no additional cost to you.
Is Heart Eyes still in theaters?
Not as a current regular U.S. theatrical release in the sources checked. The movie originally opened in U.S. theaters on February 7, 2025. The current AMC listing describes it as available to “Rent or Buy on Demand,” rather than showing a normal theatrical engagement.

That does not rule out every possible screening. Local theaters may schedule one-off showings, Valentine’s Day events, horror marathons, or repertory screenings after a film’s regular run ends. If you specifically want to see Heart Eyes on a big screen, search your local theater listings and ticketing services using your ZIP code or city; national availability cannot confirm a screening near you.
Which way should you watch?
- Choose Netflix if you already subscribe and want the lowest-friction option.
- Choose a digital rental if you only plan to watch once and do not want another subscription.
- Buy the digital version if you expect to rewatch it but do not need a disc.
- Choose the Blu-ray + Digital edition if you want physical ownership, a backup copy, or a gift.
- Check local theaters only if a special screening matters to you; the film is not currently presented as a standard theatrical engagement in the researched U.S. listings.
What is Heart Eyes about?
Directed by Josh Ruben, Heart Eyes blends slasher horror, comedy, and romance. Its masked killer has spent Valentine’s Day targeting romantic couples, but Ally and Jay are not actually a couple. After the killer misidentifies them, the co-workers must survive the night together.
