Start with the artist’s, promoter’s, or venue’s event page and follow its ticket link. That is the clearest way to find the seller authorized for that specific concert. The title year, 2025, has passed; whether any particular event still has tickets available depends on its current listing.
How to find the official ticket seller
- Open the event listing on the artist’s, promoter’s, or venue’s official website.
- Follow the ticket link shown there, then check that the destination and event details match the concert you intend to attend.
- Before paying, review the ticket type, total price, delivery or transfer instructions, event restrictions, and the seller’s support and refund terms.
For an AXS-ticketed event, AXS recommends buying through AXS.com, the AXS App, AXS Fan Support, the venue box office, or the official venue website. Ticketmaster says buying directly from Ticketmaster or the venue box office is how buyers can know their tickets are authentic, according to its authenticity guidance.
Where to look if the concert is sold out
Check whether the venue or original ticket issuer identifies an authorized resale option for that event. Resale is not automatically authorized just because a marketplace lists the concert. Ticketmaster says resale listings may be available on its platform and advises buyers to check their order confirmation or the venue website for other resale opportunities. Its resale guidance also notes that delivery may involve the original provider, Ticketmaster, or both; follow the specific instructions for the event.
When comparing an authorized resale listing with other available options, check whether it is resale rather than primary inventory, the final price, the expected transfer method and timing, and any event-specific restrictions. If the venue or issuer does not identify a resale route, do not assume an unaffiliated listing is approved.

Compare the full cost before checkout
Compare the offered total, not just the initial ticket price. In the United States, the FTC’s Unfair or Deceptive Fees Rule for live-event tickets took effect on May 12, 2025. The FTC’s consumer guidance says the upfront price must include required fees the seller knows about. Review the final amount and any terms shown before completing the purchase.
How to avoid ticket scams
- Use the contact and purchase routes linked from the official event, venue, or ticket issuer page instead of relying on unsolicited messages or unfamiliar contacts.
- Be wary of requests to pay through gift cards. Ticketmaster says it will not ask customers to buy gift cards to pay for tickets or obtain a refund; use its official scam guidance and Fan Support routes if you need help.
- Do not treat a screenshot, listing, or seller’s assurance as proof that a ticket will be accepted. Confirm the event’s accepted seller and transfer process before paying.
- Keep the order confirmation and follow the delivery instructions from the seller or original provider. For resale, check when and how the ticket will reach you.

What the FTC’s 2025 Ticketmaster and Live Nation complaint says
On September 18, 2025, the FTC and states filed a complaint alleging deceptive pricing, purchase-limit representations, and resale practices involving Ticketmaster and Live Nation. The FTC press release describes allegations in a complaint, not a court finding. For an individual concert purchase, the practical step remains to follow that event’s official ticket link and verify any resale route with the venue or issuer.
