The CBS episode announcement describes the recruiting frenzy prompted by Sheldon’s published paper, but does not detail his final choice. The MIT-to-Caltech sequence comes from TVLine’s recap.
Why is Sheldon choosing a university?
Sheldon has been considering whether to continue at East Texas Tech, where he already knows the people and environment. His mentors, Drs. Sturgis and Linkletter, urge him to pursue a broader education. The episode then brings several universities into the picture: TVLine names Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Stanford, and the University of Toronto among those recruiting him.
