Where the cast members’ lives led
Shirley Jones: continued work in acting and music
Sony’s series archive describes Jones as the real-life mother at the center of the fictional band and notes that she continued acting and singing after the sitcom. A 2026 TV Insider update, prompted by comments from Bonaduce, also discusses her continuing connection with former castmates. Those reports do not establish a precise current residence or a definitive 2026 performance schedule, so claims about where she lives or exactly how often she works should be treated cautiously.
David Cassidy: the breakout star and lasting musical legacy
Cassidy, Jones’s real-life stepson, became the show’s breakout teen idol as Keith Partridge. His official biography says, “His records have sold well over 30 million copies worldwide.” The page identifies his children, Beau and Katie Cassidy, among his survivors. Cassidy died in 2017; his recordings and Partridge Family performances remain the central part of his legacy.
Susan Dey: a deliberately private post-show life
Dey’s Laurie Partridge made her a familiar television face, but later coverage portrays her as maintaining a private life and declining many reunion opportunities. Bonaduce supplied a rare recent update about her in the May 28 Pop Culture Retro podcast discussion reported by TV Insider in 2026. No reliable cited source provides her address, health information or an exact retirement date.

Danny Bonaduce: radio, entertainment and a link to the old cast
Bonaduce moved from child acting into a long public career in radio and entertainment. He has also become one of the most visible sources of recent information about his former co-stars, including his 2026 comments about Jones and Dey. The available coverage does not support a single current job title beyond that broad radio-and-entertainment description.
Jeremy Gelbwaks: the first Chris Partridge
Gelbwaks played Chris during the first season only. The Sony-linked historical account says he later worked in computer and technology planning rather than continuing as a prominent screen performer. That is an archival career description, not a verified account of his exact employment or residence in 2026.

Brian Forster: the second Chris and a racing career
Forster replaced Gelbwaks from season two onward. The same historical account describes him as a professional race-car driver and instructor. The searched material does not establish whether that remains his precise occupation today or where he currently lives.
Suzanne Crough: Tracy Partridge
Crough played the youngest Partridge daughter. Later archival accounts say she operated a bookstore after acting. Entertainment retrospectives and status reports record her death in 2015, so the bookstore description belongs to her later-life history rather than a present-day occupation.

Dave Madden: Reuben Kincaid
Madden was not one of the children; he played the family’s manager, Reuben Kincaid. Reports from Remind record that he died in 2014.
Who is documented as deceased, and what remains uncertain?
The cited status reporting documents deaths for Cassidy (2017), Crough (2015) and Madden (2014). It does not report deaths for Jones, Dey, Bonaduce, Gelbwaks or Forster. That absence should not be read as a complete real-time registry: for Gelbwaks and Forster especially, the available sources do not verify their exact 2026 circumstances.

Did the cast really perform the music?
The Television Academy’s cast interview separates the television fiction from the recording process. Jones and Cassidy sang their own parts on the Partridge Family albums, while studio artists supplied background vocals and the instrumental music. The fictional family toured in the story, but it is misleading to describe the entire television cast as a conventional touring band.

Sony’s current series page lists Tubi, Antenna TV and AXS TV as outlets. What the available record does not establish
- No reliable current figures were found for the cast members’ earnings or net worth.
- No dependable statistic establishes present-day reunion viewership or the size of the show’s current audience.
- Archival descriptions of a later occupation, such as Gelbwaks’s technology work or Forster’s racing, should not be presented as confirmed 2026 employment without a newer first-party statement.
