To locate the correct title:
- Open Peacock on the web, a smart TV, phone, tablet, or supported streaming device.
- Choose Search.
- Enter Wicked.
- Select the 2024 movie starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
Peacock also lists Wicked Sing-Along separately. Choose the standard film if you want the regular theatrical version rather than the sing-along edition.
Can you watch Wicked with Amazon Prime?
Amazon’s own entertainment guide says the film is included with a Prime membership and is also available to rent or buy through Prime Video. However, a U.S. availability check on August 8, 2026 listed subscription streaming only on Peacock. Those listings conflict.

If you already subscribe to Prime, search for Wicked in the Prime Video app or on the Prime Video website and open the 2024 film. Before pressing play, check the title page for the exact wording “Included with Prime.” If that label is absent, Amazon is offering the movie as a rental or purchase rather than as part of the standard Prime subscription.
Non-Prime customers can also search for the movie in the Prime Video Store and check the available rental and purchase choices.
Rent or buy the movie digitally
Wicked is listed for digital rental and purchase through:
- Amazon Video
- Apple TV Store
- Fandango At Home
It is also listed for rental through FlixFling. Prices are not fixed, so check the retailer’s checkout screen before paying. A digital purchase is generally the more practical choice if you expect to watch the film more than once; a rental is cheaper when you only need a single viewing.

Apple TV rental instructions
- Open the Apple TV app.
- Choose Store.
- Search for Wicked.
- Open the 2024 film’s page.
- Select Buy or Rent, if the option is shown.
Apple’s rental rules allow 30 days to start watching. Once playback begins, the rental remains available for 48 hours. That 48-hour period is worth noting if you plan to pause the film or watch it over more than one evening.
Physical editions
For viewers who want a disc rather than a streaming subscription or digital license, Universal lists Wicked in three home-video formats:
- 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital
- Blu-ray + Digital
- DVD
Universal also lists a separate Wicked 2-Film Collection containing Wicked and Wicked: For Good. Check the contents carefully when shopping: the two-film set is not the same product as the standalone movie.

U.S. availability and international viewers
Peacock is available in the United States and certain U.S. territories, not as a universal worldwide service. Outside the U.S., the streaming home for Wicked may be different. Digital storefronts can also vary by country, including their prices, subtitles, audio formats, rental terms, and purchase rights.

When checking another country, search the local versions of the Apple TV, Amazon, or Fandango storefronts, and verify the listing before subscribing or purchasing. Movies Anywhere also lists the film as a 2024, PG title with a runtime of 2 hours and 41 minutes and provides a See Retailers button, although the available retailers depend on location and their terms.
A note about outdated availability reports
Some older pages say that Wicked is unavailable at home or can only be rented. Those statements describe the film’s earlier theatrical or premium-video-on-demand window. The current U.S. listing places it on Peacock, while digital rental and purchase options remain available as well.
