McCaffrey proposed on April 2, 2023, while the couple were vacationing at Amangiri in Utah, according to The Knot. They announced the engagement five days later, on April 7, in photographs captioned “4.2.23,” as E! News reported.

In a later Vogue wedding feature, Culpo described the proposal as a surprise and said she had not realized it was coming. “Christian should get an Oscar for his acting skills because I had absolutely no idea he was proposing,” she said.
What did Olivia Culpo’s engagement ring look like?
The Knot reported that the custom ring was designed by Ring Concierge. It had an oval center stone, epaulette side stones and a two-tone setting combining yellow gold and platinum. Those are reported design details; they do not establish that an identical ready-made ring is available.
