Disney’s UK press announcement described the launch as exclusive to Disney+. It named November 12, 2025 as the streaming start date, and Disney’s US-facing film page also links to a video announcement featuring that date.

The sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday brings Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan back as Tess and Anna Coleman. Anna now has a daughter and a soon-to-be stepdaughter, and the family faces the challenges of bringing two families together. Nisha Ganatra directed the film.
