Netflix’s announced U.S. schedule for June 2025 mixed new seasons and films with licensed movies and series. Highlights included Ginny & Georgia season 3 on June 5, KPop Demon Hunters on June 20 and Squid Game season 3 on June 27. The month’s listed departures began with a notable June 1 group that included Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and GoodFellas. These are historical schedule dates, not a guide to what is available on Netflix now or in other countries.
What’s coming to Netflix in June 2025?
The following dates come from What’s on Netflix’s June 2, 2025 U.S. preview. The schedule included Netflix releases as well as licensed catalog titles; an arrival date does not imply a title is still available today.
June 1: licensed films and Hitchcock titles
The month opened with a broad group of licensed movies and an Alfred Hitchcock collection. Named Hitchcock films included Vertigo, Rear Window, Frenzy, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Family Plot and The Birds.
June 4–6: returning series and a new thriller
- June 4: Criminal Code season 2 and Eva Lasting season 3.
- June 5: Ginny & Georgia season 3, plus Barracuda Queens season 2 and Tires season 2.
- June 6: Straw, a drama thriller about a single mother caught in escalating circumstances. Netflix’s summer movie guide lists the film for this date.
June 11–14: documentary, comedy and returning drama
- June 11: Titan: The OceanGate Disaster, a documentary examining Stockton Rush and the submersible’s doomed voyage, according to Netflix’s summer movie guide.
- June 12: FUBAR season 2.
- June 14: Grey’s Anatomy season 21.
June 17–20: catalog drama and new releases
- June 17: Scandal seasons 1–7.
- June 19: The Waterfront.
- June 20: Olympo and KPop Demon Hunters. Netflix describes the latter as an animated action comedy about K-pop stars who secretly hunt demons; its summer movie guide gives June 20 as the date.
June 22–27: more films and season finales
- June 22: The Intern.
- June 27: Pokémon Horizons: Season 2—The Search for Laqua (Part 3) and Squid Game season 3.
Netflix’s 2025 slate announcement also named June 5 for Ginny & Georgia season 3 and June 27 for Squid Game season 3. In that announcement, Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria said, “With more than 700 million people watching, we can’t just be one thing.” The figure is Netflix’s statement in the announcement, not an independently verified measurement here.
