The contestant known as “New York” went on to headline her own VH1 spin-off, I Love New York, and later moved between hosting, interviews, and reality-competition shows. In an October 2025 interview, she was described as hosting the competition series Slayers—the latest dated project in the sources available here.
From Flavor of Love contestant to reality-TV lead
Pollard became a breakout figure on VH1’s mid-2000s dating show Flavor of Love, where her sharp, assertive presence earned her the nickname “New York.” Rather than ending with her run as a contestant, her reality-TV career continued with I Love New York, a spin-off that put her at the center of the search for a partner. VH1’s profile and Vogue’s interview trace that transition.

She expanded into hosting and interviews
Brunch With Tiffany
In 2020, Pollard described Brunch With Tiffany as a chance to have more personal, unhurried conversations than the confrontational reality-TV scenes that first made her famous. Vogue quoted her saying that guests felt they could trust her and talk about personal matters. The interview also described her then-current work and living arrangements; those details are historical to 2020, not evidence of her circumstances today. Read the Vogue interview.
Hot Haus
In 2022, Pollard hosted Hot Haus, a competition series featuring queer adult entertainers. The role placed her in charge of a show format distinct from her original dating-show appearances. Elite Daily reported on her work on the series.

Slayers
Queerty’s October 2, 2025 interview described Pollard as hosting Slayers, a competition series. That is the most recent dated project evidence in the sources available here; it establishes her role at the time of the interview, not her full work slate as of October 2026. Read the Queerty interview.
She has continued competing on reality television
Pollard also returned to the competitor side of reality TV on House of Villains. In interviews around the show, she spoke about the challenge of living with the audience’s expectations of “New York.” In 2023, she told Bustle, “I’m just not going out of my way to be as angry and as frustrated as I used to be to make sure ratings would happen.” Bustle’s interview captured her perspective on changing how she approaches the persona.

In a 2024 Elite Daily interview, she described the work of getting other contestants to see beyond her reputation: “Then I have such a tedious job of making myself friendly, because there’s this huge target on my back. I have to really push to get people to see the human side of me. That is a job within itself.” Elite Daily’s interview connects that challenge to her later competition-TV roles.
The “New York” persona is still part of her public image
Pollard has described moving away from deliberately turning up anger for ratings, but she has not presented “New York” as a role that can simply be switched off. Her comments point to a more complicated relationship: the persona helped define her television career, while audiences still recognize and expect it. Her continued visibility in memes and fan requests to recreate famous moments keeps that connection alive. Bustle and Elite Daily discuss how that reputation follows her.

What happened to her Flavor of Love cast connections?
Pollard has said she has occasional contact with former castmates, but a 2024 interview characterized the group as dispersed rather than close-knit. That describes the relationships she discussed at that time; it does not establish her present-day contact with every former cast member. Elite Daily’s 2024 interview covers the subject.
VH1 also documented Pollard’s reunion with Flavor Flav after six years in 2018. That reunion is a point in their public history, not proof of what their relationship is now. VH1 covered the reunion.

The clearest answer is that Pollard built a career beyond the show that introduced her: she became the lead of I Love New York, developed a more conversational hosting style on Brunch With Tiffany, hosted Hot Haus, and remained a reality-TV competitor before taking on Slayers. The latest dated source here places her on Slayers in October 2025, but does not confirm what she is doing now or whether that role continues.
