Why did Laura-Leigh leave Vanderpump Rules?
Laura-Leigh joined the show as a SUR server in its first season. Bravo says she first appeared in Season 1, Episode 4, and her storyline included a relationship with Jax Taylor after his breakup with Stassi Schroeder. In the Season 1 finale, she told Lisa Vanderpump she had booked a film role and was leaving for North Carolina to shoot with Jennifer Aniston. Bravo’s retrospective recounts her exit and the role.
The film was We’re the Millers, released in 2013. Laura-Leigh played Kymberly. She did not return to Vanderpump Rules after leaving SUR.
What acting work did she do after the show?
The reality series was a short chapter in a career that already included television work. Bravo reports that Laura-Leigh studied at Juilliard and had guest roles in Gossip Girl, Law & Order, and Numb3rs before appearing on the show. Afterward, she had a recurring role as Nikki Shannon on The Client List and appeared in films including Tooken and Under the Silver Lake.

The latest screen credit identified in the coverage reviewed is a 2019 guest appearance on Blue Bloods. Both Bravo’s December 2023 retrospective and Us Weekly’s August 2025 article identify 2019 as her most recent reported screen work. That is a limit on what those articles report, not evidence that she retired or stopped acting.
What is Laura-Leigh doing now?
In early 2025, Laura-Leigh spoke about her Vanderpump Rules experience on the podcast Vanderpump Rules Party, in interviews published January 2 and February 14. Us Weekly reported that she recalled joining the show because she needed money for rent, citing her account that she wanted $500 to cover the rest of that month’s rent. That amount is her personal recollection, not a standard cast salary.

Bravo reported in April 2025 that she was preparing Jurasses, an animated series about dinosaurs working in a strip club. Its description called it “coming soon,” but the coverage does not establish that it was completed, released, or subsequently made available. The reporting therefore supports describing it as a project she discussed in 2025—not as a current, released series.
