The episode materials reviewed also do not establish that the ending went viral.
What happened on the October 5 episode of Raw?
WWE’s results page says LA Knight confronted Roman Reigns and vowed to defeat him at Money in the Bank. WWE’s official listing describes their interaction as a “fiery faceoff.” The listing also includes a highlight about Reigns recruiting Solo Sikoa for The 946 battle. WWE’s results for the October 5 episode and the Raw program listing document those moments.
The official materials reviewed do not establish that the faceoff closed the broadcast. They also do not mention Brock Lesnar appearing on this episode, so the headline’s suggestion of a Lesnar-and-Reigns return is not confirmed by those records.
Did the ending go viral?
That claim is not verified by the official episode sources. They provide no view count, share count, trend ranking, or other measure of online reach. Without a specific platform and engagement evidence, “viral” should be treated as headline language rather than an established description of the segment.

What was Reigns’ status going into the episode?
WWE’s October 5 results identify Reigns as World Heavyweight Champion. Its September 14, 2026 Raw results say he defeated Penta in a World Heavyweight Title Match during the Mexico City episode. The October 5 account frames Knight’s challenge around the upcoming Money in the Bank event; the official materials cited here do not establish additional reasons for Reigns’ appearance.
