The Beach Boys’ “Endless Summer Gold” was an announced 2024 tour marking the 50th anniversary of the band’s 1974 double-album hits collection Endless Summer. The first announced performances were February 21 and 22 at Honolulu’s Hawaii Theatre; the itinerary also named festivals and venues around the United States. John Stamos was billed as a special guest for select summer dates, not the entire run.
Why the tour was called “Endless Summer Gold”
The tour’s name referred to Endless Summer, the compilation Capitol Records released on June 24, 1974. In its 2024 retrospective, The Beach Boys described the double album as a collection of hits that introduced the group’s music to a new generation and helped renew interest in the band.

The band’s retrospective reports that the album reached No. 1 on the Billboard album chart, stayed there for 155 weeks, and sold more than three million copies in the United States. These are figures reported by The Beach Boys in 2024, rather than independently audited figures presented here. Mike Love, whom the retrospective credits with helping sequence the album, recalled: “Maybe 90 percent of the sequencing is what I hoped it would be. I wanted the listener to experience the same feeling as one would have in listening to a concert. That was just born of years of doing shows. The response to Endless Summer was stunning.” (The Beach Boys, “Endless Summer at 50,” June 24, 2024.)
What dates and stops were announced?
The initial announcement listed February 21 and 22 performances at the Hawaii Theatre in Honolulu as the first dates. It also named New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Stagecoach, Wolf Trap, the Greek Theatre, and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium among the tour stops, and included a July 5 performance at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre. Those are examples from the announced itinerary, not a complete schedule or confirmation that each event took place as announced.

- Originally released in 2003, UMe has updated the Beach Boys' classic Sounds Of Summer compilation with new photos and liner notes
The schedule mixed festivals with theaters and amphitheaters across the United States. The February Honolulu shows marked the announced opening, while the later summer dates included the venues where Stamos was billed for selected appearances. Original ticket-sale dates and purchase instructions related to those 2024 events are historical; they do not indicate current availability.
What was John Stamos’s role?
In a May 21, 2024 update, The Beach Boys announced actor, producer, and musician John Stamos as a special guest on a string of summer dates. The update named Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, Wolf Trap, Ravinia Festival, and the Greek Theatre. Its wording was limited to select dates, so Stamos should not be described as appearing at every stop on the tour.

What else appeared in the tour announcements?
Venue announcements also promoted The Beach Boys by The Beach Boys, an official band history published through Genesis Publications. One announcement described a limited edition of 500 copies and said the book traced the band’s story through its July 4, 1980 concert at the National Mall. That is announcement-era information, not a statement about present stock or availability.

The available announcements establish the tour’s 2024 framing, its anniversary connection, representative stops, and Stamos’s billed role on selected summer dates. They do not establish attendance, actual setlists, the final itinerary after any changes, or whether every scheduled performance occurred. They also cannot tell a reader whether tickets or the promoted book are available now.
