BGR reported on December 30, 2025, that a leaked Avengers: Doomsday teaser focused on the X-Men and did not show Doctor Doom. The outlet described Professor X, Magneto and Cyclops in the clip, but its account does not establish that Marvel officially released or confirmed the footage.
What BGR said was in the leaked teaser
In a report by Chris Smith, BGR described footage set at the X-Mansion, where Professor X and Magneto appear together over a chess game. The account then shifts to Cyclops fighting: he removes his visor and fires an optic blast. A Sentinel is visible behind him near the end of the clip.

BGR attributed the narration to Ian McKellen as Magneto and quoted it as: “Death comes for us all, that’s all I know for sure,” followed by, “The question isn’t: ‘Are you prepared to die?’ The question is, ‘Who would you be when you close your eyes?’” These are details and wording from BGR’s description of the reported leak, not independently authenticated trailer material. Was Doctor Doom in the footage?
