Confirmed highlights included a Jujutsu Kaisen stage covering the completed manga and upcoming anime projects, a scheduled Dandadan cast appearance, and a SPY×FAMILY stage for a series whose third season had already been confirmed. These are documented highlights, not a complete record of every panel or live reveal.
What happened on Day 1?
Jump Festa is a two-day event hosted by five Shueisha magazines. The official MANGA Plus schedule listed the 2024 event dates as December 21 and 22, with schedule times in Japan Standard Time (JST). It said the four stages would be livestreamed globally in Japanese, while warning that access could vary by region. MANGA Plus event schedule
The Saturday schedule included Jujutsu Kaisen at 10:30–11:10, SPY×FAMILY at 15:50–16:10, and Dandadan at 17:00–17:30. Other listed panels included Rurouni Kenshin, The Prince of Tennis, Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer, WITCH WATCH, SAKAMOTO DAYS, and Gin Tama. A schedule confirms that a panel was planned; it does not, on its own, establish that a major new announcement was made there.
Jujutsu Kaisen: completed manga, compilation film, and Culling Game
The official event page scheduled the Jujutsu Kaisen Super Stage for December 21, 10:30–11:10. Its description said the program would look back at the completed original manga and include information about the 2025 theatrical compilation of the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc and the Culling Game sequel, then in production. That framing points to the next anime projects named in the event notice: the compilation film and Culling Game. It does not support saying that the stage announced a new season adapting the Shibuya Incident.
The event page also listed physical licensed goods, including acrylic stands, badges, clear files, and postcards. The listing establishes that such goods were associated with the event, not that they remain in stock or are currently available from any particular retailer.
SPY×FAMILY: Season 3 was already decided
The official SPY×FAMILY page listed a December 21 stage slot from 15:50 to 16:10 and stated that Season 3 had been decided. It also named cast members scheduled to appear. The page documents the season’s confirmed status and the stage listing; it does not establish that Season 3 was first announced during that panel. Official SPY×FAMILY event page

Dandadan: cast appearance and a separately reported Season 2 window
The official Dandadan notice scheduled its stage for December 21 at 17:00 on Jump Super Stage BLUE. Planned guests were Shion Wakayama (Momo), Natsuki Hanae (Okarun), Ayane Sakura (Aira), Kaito Ishikawa (Jiji), and Mayumi Tanaka (Turbo Granny). The notice, dated September 30, 2024, establishes the planned stage and guests, rather than a transcript of what was revealed live. Official Dandadan stage notice
Separately, Netflix’s Jump Festa coverage said Season 2 was set to premiere in July 2025. That was a release window reported by Netflix, not evidence that the timing was newly announced on the Day 1 stage. Netflix Jump Festa coverage

Other release and streaming details in Netflix’s slate
Netflix’s coverage also reported several items with specific timing or territory qualifications:
- Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE, described by Netflix as the final season, was set to begin streaming in Asia, including Japan, on January 9 with its first part.
- The One Piece was described as a new anime adaptation starting with the East Blue Saga and “coming soon”; the cited passage gave no date.
- SPY x FAMILY CODE: White began streaming on December 22 in select regions.
These are Netflix-reported slate details. Their stated regions and dates matter: the CODE: White streaming note was limited to select regions, while the Dr. STONE date was specified for Asia, including Japan.

The event and franchise pages verify the schedule and selected stage descriptions; Netflix’s page supplies the slate details above. They do not provide a complete, announcement-by-announcement account of every Day 1 panel. In particular, a planned stage topic, an already-confirmed season, or a release window reported elsewhere should not automatically be presented as a fresh reveal made live at Jump Festa.
