The award organizer’s release confirms Chalamet’s win and the ceremony, but does not publish a speech transcript. The quoted wording and Jenner’s reported response are therefore attributed to E!’s event coverage.

The Association’s awards archive identifies the 2026 event as the 31st annual ceremony; the prior, 30th annual ceremony was held February 7, 2025. This places the declaration at the January 2026 event, not the 2025 ceremony.

E! characterized the speech as the first time Chalamet publicly declared his love for Jenner during this kind of moment. That is E!’s description of the occasion, rather than a claim made by the Critics Choice Association or a transcript published by the organizer.
