Dune: Prophecy episode 1 premiered on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO. Warner Bros. Discovery also announced that the six-episode season would be available to stream on Max, but did not give a separate streaming release time.
Episode 1’s premiere time
HBO’s October 17, 2024 announcement scheduled the first episode for 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, November 17, 2024. The date has passed, so this is the announced historical premiere schedule, not a forthcoming release.
Warner Bros. Discovery’s announcement described the series as a six-episode season and named HBO as its broadcast outlet.
Was there a separate Max release time?
The announcement said the season would be available to stream on Max, but it did not specify when the episode appeared on the service relative to the HBO broadcast. It therefore supports the streaming platform, not a distinct Max drop time.
