BGR said a circulating clip showed Brett Goldstein as Hercules, setting up a confrontation with Thor.
What did the reported leak show?
In a report first published July 4, 2022, and updated July 7, BGR said video of a post-credits scene had appeared online. The scene reportedly shows an injured Zeus addressing Hercules, played by Brett Goldstein, and frames Hercules as a future opponent for Thor. BGR’s July 2022 report is the source for these details.

BGR also recounted descriptions of a second post-credits scene: Heimdall welcomes Jane Foster to Valhalla. These are the scenes as described in that report, rather than independently authenticated details about the circulating clip.
Who was the surprise cameo?
The reported cameo was Brett Goldstein as Hercules. The reveal mattered because the scene appeared to position the mythological hero against Thor, suggesting a possible future conflict. The report did not establish what that conflict would involve or when the characters might meet again.

Was the leaked clip verified?
The report establishes what BGR said was circulating in July 2022; it does not independently establish the clip’s origin. The original uploader, chain of custody, whether the footage was complete and unedited, and whether the clip remains available are not verified here. No official Marvel confirmation of the leak or its source was identified in the reviewed material. That uncertainty applies to the clip’s provenance, not to the fact that BGR published the report.
