An amended complaint in a civil case alleges that Riley Keough donated eggs used to conceive Ben, John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s son. The allegation is attributed in reporting to what plaintiff Brigitte Kruse says Michael Lockwood told her; it has not been established by a court in the coverage reviewed.
What the amended complaint reportedly alleges
The Independent reported that Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko added the allegation to an amended complaint in their litigation against Navarone Garibaldi Garcia. The broader case is described as a $50 million breach-of-contract suit. The reported complaint says Kruse and Fialko were acting as negotiators and mediators after Lisa Marie Presley’s death in 2023.
According to the report, the complaint says Lockwood told Kruse about an alleged arrangement involving Travolta, Preston and egg donation. It identifies Keough’s eggs as having been used to conceive Ben, who was born in 2010. These are claims recounted in a pleading, not independently verified facts. [The Independent]
How the account is attributed
The reported chain is indirect: the complaint describes what Kruse says Lockwood told her. TMZ’s report, republished by AOL, also presents the story as an allegation in legal papers and attributes the account to Lockwood through Kruse. That additional coverage does not independently confirm biological parentage. [AOL republishing TMZ]

What the lawyers said
Priscilla Presley’s attorney, Marty Singer, rejected the allegations and said they were unrelated to the claims in the case. The Independent quoted him as saying: “These recent outrageous allegations have absolutely nothing to do with the claims in this case.”
Jordan Matthews, lawyer for Kruse and Fialko, disputed Singer’s characterization and defended the filing. He told The Independent: “Any contention that our allegations are ‘outrageous’ or ‘cross an ethical line’ is nothing more than a crafty attempt to bend the facts and create a false narrative.” These are opposing attorneys’ statements, not a ruling on the claim. What is—and is not—established
The cited coverage describes an allegation in a civil complaint and the lawyers’ competing responses. It does not report a judicial finding that Keough is Ben’s biological mother. The Independent said it contacted representatives for Travolta and Keough; its report did not include a response from either. That wording does not establish whether either responded later.
