“The Little Rascals” can refer to the original Our Gang comedy shorts or the separate 1994 feature film. This update is about the original series, syndicated under the The Little Rascals name. One of its best-known regulars, Sidney Kibrick, died in 2026 at 97; current information about other performers is more limited, and the sources distinguish featured regulars from background players.
Which Little Rascals cast is this?
Our Gang was the original series of short comedies, produced from 1922 to 1944, according to Forbes in 2026. The shorts later reached television under the title The Little Rascals. The 1994 feature film is a separate production with a different cast, so its actors are not covered in the updates below.
The original series featured many child performers over its long run. Available reporting here supports a specific update on Sidney Kibrick and carefully qualified information about who may have survived; it does not establish a complete, performer-by-performer account of the cast today.
Sidney Kibrick (Woim): from child actor to real estate developer
Sidney Henry Kibrick played Woim, the sidekick to Butch, and appeared in 27 Our Gang shorts, according to Forbes. He became a regular in 1935. Forbes’ 2026 report and Legacy’s obituary describe a life that moved well beyond the screen: Kibrick left acting as a teenager, attended the University of Southern California, and worked in real estate development.

Legacy reports that Kibrick died at a Los Angeles hospital on January 2, 2026, aged 97. He kept in touch with the series’ community through reunions and remained friends with George “Spanky” McFarland, according to the obituary. The available sources do not provide a reliable present-day visual update, so this is a biographical account rather than a claim about how he looked in recent years.
Who was still alive, according to 2026 reports?
Legacy News Staff wrote, “He was the last of the ‘Our Gang’ regulars to survive.” That wording matters: it refers to regular performers, not necessarily every child or background player who appeared in the shorts.

Forbes’ 2026 report separately said former background players Billy Mindy and Peggy Lynch were believed to be remaining surviving cast members. The reports can coexist because they draw a distinction between regulars and background performers. They do not provide a definitive census of everyone who appeared in the series, so Mindy and Lynch’s status should be read as qualified reporting from that time, not as a comprehensive verification.
What about the 1994 Little Rascals movie?
The 1994 movie has its own cast and is not the original Our Gang ensemble. A 2024 entertainment roundup identified that film and listed cast members, but the page could not be accessed for verification; its search snippet is not enough to support current claims about individual actors’ appearance, careers, locations, or personal lives. This article therefore does not present those claims as fact.
