In Yakuza Fiancé episode 9, Suou Azami confronts Kirishima and asks where Yoshino Somei is. The official synopsis does not reveal why Azami is looking for her or confirm his true intentions; it leaves his purpose as an open question.
What happens in episode 9?
Episode 9 is the middle installment of the three-part Japanese subtitle 「本音を言えば結婚したい 中編」, literally rendered as “If I’m Being Honest, I Want to Get Married: Part 2.” That English wording is a translation, not an official licensed episode title. The official episode synopsis places the action at a crowded fireworks festival.

After Naoya takes Ozu away, Yoshino follows Ozu. Meanwhile, Kirishima blends into the crowd and launches a surprise attack on the half-gang members. Yoshino is put in danger after drawing attention in connection with the Shiori Akaza incident. Kirishima takes down several members of the group before Azami appears before him.
What does Azami say to Kirishima?
Azami’s defining moment in the official summary is a question: 「染井吉乃はどこ？」—“Where is Yoshino Somei?” He asks Kirishima for Yoshino’s location. The synopsis does not provide a further explanation from Azami or identify what he plans to do.

Does episode 9 reveal Azami’s true intentions?
Not in the official synopsis. It establishes that Azami is searching for Yoshino and confronts Kirishima at the festival, but it explicitly leaves his purpose unresolved. The title’s suggestion that he reveals his intentions should therefore be treated as an interpretive hook, not a confirmed plot outcome based on the official summary alone.
