The available evidence does not establish that he legally or beneficially owns either aircraft, or that he was aboard any particular flight beyond the reported Vilnius arrival.
The short answer: two aircraft, not one confirmed jet
The best-documented branded aircraft associated with O’Neal is N3250N, a Bombardier Challenger 605. A separate report from Lithuanian broadcaster LRT says he arrived in Vilnius in September 2026 aboard a Bombardier Global 6000, registration N626JJ. These are distinct aircraft and should not be collapsed into a single answer about “Shaq’s jet.”
A registration identifies an airframe, not necessarily its beneficial owner or the people aboard it. The sources available here report corporate or trustee registration details, but do not independently establish O’Neal’s legal ownership of either aircraft.
N3250N: the Dunkman-branded Challenger 605
JetPhotos identifies N3250N as a Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 605, serial number 5849. Its listing includes a photograph dated August 25, 2023, captioned “Shaquille O’Neal private jet in Columbia, MO.” The photo and Dunkman branding underpin the public association between O’Neal and this airframe. See the JetPhotos registration listing.

Why some coverage called it a Challenger 650
GlobalAir’s 2023 coverage initially used “Challenger 650,” including in its headline. The article now carries a correction stating: “Since this article was released, further investigation has revealed the jet is a Bombardier Challenger 605.” The corrected model identification is consistent with JetPhotos’ aircraft listing. Read GlobalAir’s corrected article.
What is known about registration and price
Aviora Jets describes N3250N as a 2010 Challenger 605 and reports, citing FAA-derived records, that Garrote Aviation LLC is its registered owner. That is a secondary profile’s account of the registrant, not proof that O’Neal personally owns or beneficially controls the aircraft. Aviora lists model-profile figures of 4,000 nautical miles and Mach 0.82; these are not guarantees of the performance of this specific airframe on a particular flight. See Aviora Jets’ profile.

N626JJ: the Global 6000 reported in Vilnius
In an article dated September 29, 2026, LRT reported that O’Neal arrived in Vilnius aboard a Bombardier Global 6000 registered N626JJ. The report quotes aviation expert Martynas Jaugelavičius, who said the aircraft was built in 2014, listed Bank of Utah Trustee as owner and Solairus Aviation as operator, and described a dark-gray fuselage bearing a Dunkman logo. These are reported registry and operator details; they do not show that N626JJ is N3250N or that O’Neal owns it. Read LRT’s Vilnius report.

Jaugelavičius described the Global 6000 as able to travel approximately 11,000 km and carry “a dozen or so passengers.” The distance is his rounded quoted figure, not an independently checked specification or a promise of the range available on a particular trip. The same report describes the aircraft as powered by two Rolls-Royce engines.
A separate CelebPlanes article also discussed N626JJ and a September 2026 flight, but it uses conditional wording such as “If aboard.” Flight-tracking data can show an aircraft’s signal and movement; it does not, by itself, establish passenger identity. See CelebPlanes’ conditional flight report.

How the two aircraft compare
| Aircraft | Identification and association | Ownership or operator information reported | What the evidence does not establish |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bombardier Challenger 605, N3250N | JetPhotos identifies the model and registration; a 2023 photo listing associates it with O’Neal and Columbia, Missouri. Dunkman branding is part of its public association. | Aviora Jets reports Garrote Aviation LLC as registered owner, based on FAA-derived records. | That O’Neal is its legal or beneficial owner, or that he was aboard a specific flight. |
| Bombardier Global 6000, N626JJ | LRT reported O’Neal arrived in Vilnius aboard it in September 2026; the report describes a Dunkman logo. | LRT’s quoted aviation expert lists Bank of Utah Trustee as owner and Solairus Aviation as operator. | That it is the same aircraft as N3250N, that O’Neal owns it, or that other tracked flights carried him. |
What O’Neal has said about flying privately
In a GQ travel interview about discomfort in cramped commercial-aircraft seating, O’Neal said, “Well, I have my own plane now, so I haven’t had that problem in 15 years.” The remark is useful personal context for why private flying matters to him, but it does not identify a model, registration, or specific aircraft. Read the GQ interview.
Can a flight tracker confirm Shaq is on board?
No. A tracker may help identify an aircraft by its registration and show its movements when it is transmitting data. That signal does not reveal who is on board. Even a route that aligns with a public appearance is not, on its own, proof of passenger identity. For N626JJ, distinguish LRT’s report of a specific Vilnius arrival from other flight-tracking-based speculation that uses conditional language.
