In a March 2018 interview, Lynda Carter spoke about sexual abuse and harassment she said she had experienced during her career. She also described a separate incident on the 1970s Wonder Woman set: a cameraman, she said, drilled a hole in her dressing-room wall. Carter did not name either man. The available reports document her account but do not independently verify the incidents.
What Carter said about her career
In an interview with Tim Teeman published by The Daily Beast on March 12, 2018, Carter said she had experienced sexual abuse and harassment during her career. She declined to name the alleged abuser or describe the exact nature of that separate incident. Carter said she had considered legal action and looked into it, but did not pursue it. Read the interview in The Daily Beast.
Explaining why she did not want to identify the man, Carter told Teeman: “He’s already being done in. There’s no advantage in piling on again.” Her remarks concerned an unnamed alleged abuser and should not be confused with the separate account she gave about a cameraman on the Wonder Woman set.
The dressing-room incident she described
Carter told Teeman: “There was a cameraman who drilled a hole in my dressing room wall on the Warner Brothers lot.” She said the man was caught, fired, and “drummed out of the business.” She did not identify him.

The accounts in these reports are attributed to Carter. The reporting does not independently verify either incident or establish the identities of the people involved. The Daily Beast reported that Warner Bros. declined to comment; Allure likewise reported that the studio declined its request for comment. Neither the unnamed alleged abuser Carter discussed in relation to her career nor the cameraman she described should be identified by speculation.
