People en Español informó el 1 de octubre de 2024 que el cantante había anunciado en septiembre un nuevo tequila producido por la casa. Según una portavoz citada por la publicación, Luis Miguel había adquirido la marca a finales de 2023 y se preparaba una campaña para botellas con su sello; entonces no se había anunciado una fecha de lanzamiento. Casa Don Ramón afirma que la edición especial obtuvo tres medallas en la San Francisco World Spirits Competition de 2024 antes de su lanzamiento oficial, pero su página no desglosa qué reconocimiento correspondió a cada botella. El Imparcial atribuyó Oro a Plata, Doble Oro a Reposado y Plata a Añejo en ese certamen. Ese desglose debe leerse como un reporte de ese medio; las medallas no son una medida general de calidad ni demuestran cuál expresión prefieren los consumidores.
