What Lucy Jackson said happened
In follow-up videos described by PerthNow, Jackson said her then-partner, Sam, had cheated on her with multiple people. She said he moved into her home on Tuesday and she asked him to leave on Wednesday after learning what had happened. Jackson also said they had told each other they loved each other a couple of weeks earlier.
“He moved in on Tuesday and I kicked him out on Wednesday,” PerthNow quoted Jackson as saying.

Why she posted “Looking for a roommate”
The caption appeared on Jackson’s TikTok before the follow-up videos drew attention, according to PerthNow. In the context of her later explanation, it referred to the end of the living arrangement: she said her partner had moved into her home and that she asked him to leave after discovering the alleged cheating.
What Jackson shared publicly—and what she held back
Jackson asked her audience not to send her ex-partner hate. PerthNow reported that she took a few days off work, then returned while focusing on her mental health and a healthy routine. She said she was not going into intricate details at that time and might discuss the incident on the podcast later; the report does not establish that a later discussion took place.
