Kirk Cameron recalled uneasy interactions with Brian Peck while Peck worked on Growing Pains, describing behavior that made him pause. Cameron did not say he knew at the time that Peck was abusing someone, and his recollection does not establish that he witnessed abuse.
What Cameron recalled
In comments reported in April 2024, Cameron described interactions with Peck on the Growing Pains set that struck him as uncomfortable. An OK! Magazine clip description, published as public attention turned to Peck through the documentary series Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, attributed to Cameron the explanation that some behavior could raise “a little flag on the field” without proving that something worse was happening. The description framed his remarks around why Peck was not reprimanded; it is a secondary account of the interview, not a full transcript. OK! Magazine’s clip description.

The distinction matters: Cameron’s reported language conveys retrospective unease, not a claim that he knew Peck was abusing anyone or that he saw abuse occur.
When the comments surfaced
The remarks appeared in 2024 amid renewed attention to Peck following Quiet on Set. Yahoo Entertainment also reported that Cameron discussed “questionable encounters” with Peck in a new Daily Wire interview. That coverage corroborates the broad framing of Cameron’s account, but it is secondary reporting and does not independently verify what happened on set. Yahoo Entertainment’s report.

What the account does—and does not—establish
- It establishes what Cameron reportedly remembered: interactions with Peck that left him uneasy while Peck was working on the show.
- It does not establish prior knowledge: the reported remarks do not say Cameron knew at the time that Peck was abusing someone.
- It is not an independent investigation: the available accounts are a clip description and secondary coverage, not a contemporaneous record or a full interview transcript.
- It should not be recast as witnessing abuse: Cameron’s reported “flag” comparison expressly stops short of proof of worse conduct.
Peck is described in the coverage as a convicted child molester. The material available for this article does not include a primary court record, so it does not support adding specifics about the case, such as an offense count, conviction year, or sentence.
