Keegan Allen has kept working as an actor since Pretty Little Liars ended in 2017. His most substantial post-series role is Liam Walker in the CW drama Walker. Outside acting, he has published two photography books and released a small number of singles. Beyond those, the public record is thin: it does not establish a newer music release, a confirmed second photo book beyond the one he described as planned, or a broader slate of upcoming projects.
Acting after Pretty Little Liars
Allen played Toby Cavanaugh on Pretty Little Liars. His later screen work has been more modest in scale, and the sources differ in how far they reach forward in time, so each credit below is dated to the source that supports it.

Walker
The CW’s talent biography for Allen, dated January 2021, identifies him as Liam Walker in Walker. The show is a CW series that is listed on IMDb as running from 2021 to 2024, and Apple’s artist listing shows it with a 2024 date. The biography is a dated promotional document, so its descriptions of his current projects should be read as they stood in early 2021.
No Escape (2020)
Apple’s listing includes the 2020 film No Escape among Allen’s screen credits. Treat this as a credit in his filmography rather than a detail of his role or how the film was received.

The Rookie (2026 episode credit)
IMDb’s current listing for Allen includes an episode credit on The Rookie dated 2026. That is a single listed episode. The sources do not show it as a recurring role, and nothing in them indicates a continuing arrangement with the series.
Earlier film and stage work
The CW biography also recaps work that predates Walker: the film Palo Alto, the film King Cobra, and the New York stage production of Small Engine Repair. In a March 2016 ABC News interview, Allen discussed King Cobra as a recent project and talked about a possible future on Broadway. That was an expressed interest at the time, not a commitment.

Photography: two books
Photography is the most documented creative pursuit outside acting. The CW biography says his first photography book was published by St. Martin’s Press in February 2015. The title is life.love.beauty, which the Los Angeles Times described in 2015 as a photo book that follows Allen’s life. The CW names Hollywood as his second book.
Allen has been direct about how he regards the work. In an April 2015 Los Angeles Times interview with Brittny Mejia, he said:

He added:
“I like the idea of doing my photography as a cathartic thing. The moment it’s a job it takes all the joy out of it for me.”

If you are looking for the books themselves, check current retailer listings before buying. The sources confirm the titles and publication history, but they do not establish current stock, editions, formats, or prices.
Music: three singles
Allen’s music output is limited to singles listed on Apple. The CW biography adds that guitar, piano, harmonica, and songwriting are among his interests.

No release newer than 2020 appears in the sources. That means no newer music is confirmed, but it does not mean Allen has stopped making music.

Several things Allen described in interviews did not appear in the sources as completed work.
- A second photographic journal and illustration were mentioned in the 2016 ABC News interview as things he was working on at the time.
- Another photography book was described in a February 2021 Glitter Magazine interview. He said he had “a plan to release a new photography book,” but that events had interrupted it. The interview does not say the book was released, and no later release appears in the sources.
- Recording music and a future on Broadway were presented as interests in 2016. The sources do not show follow-up work in either area.
The same Glitter interview includes Allen’s comment on his Walker co-star Jared Padalecki: “I have such a unique friendship that feels instantaneously like family with Jared.”
What the record does not establish
The available sources cover public credits, published books, listed singles, and interviews through 2021, with a single 2026 episode credit. They do not give a complete account of Allen’s private or unannounced work, so they cannot show that he has no upcoming projects. A reader should treat the list above as the public record through the dates given, not as a full career inventory.
