What did Beckinsale mean by “ruined me”?
In a July 2006 interview about Click, Beckinsale described the film set as unusually enjoyable. Her full sentence was: “Adam has I think probably ruined me for working on any other kind of movie ever.” She immediately explained: “I mean it was just the most fun, relaxed, jolly set I think I’ve ever been on.” The interview, published by Philstar.com on July 22, 2006, attributes both remarks to Beckinsale in its “On Working On The Film” section.

In context, “ruined me” is an affectionate exaggeration: after enjoying that production so much, she joked that other movie sets might not measure up. It is praise for her professional experience working with Sandler.
Were Kate Beckinsale and Adam Sandler together?
The interview presents them as co-stars, not as a couple. Beckinsale played Donna, the wife of Sandler’s character, Michael, in Click. She also said she had known Sandler for years through his appearances on Saturday Night Live. Nothing in the interview says the actors had a romantic relationship; “their time together” refers to working on the film.

What was Click?
Click is a comedy starring Sandler and Beckinsale. The interview uses Beckinsale’s comments about making the film to convey how much she enjoyed the set; its “ruined me” line was about the experience of filming, not the movie’s plot or her character’s marriage.
