The name is used for at least two different products: a Google Play application called Yacine TV – Live Scores (package com.yacinetvllc.yacinetvapp) and unrelated-looking APK websites that advertise free live sports and television channels. The Play-listed product is documented as a scores and match-information app, not an IPTV service.
An APK is simply an Android installation file. It does not prove that an app is official, safe, free, or licensed. Before installing any Yacine TV package, verify the publisher, package identity, permissions, source domain, and streaming rights. A random “official APK” page is not sufficient proof of ownership.
What does APK mean?
APK stands for Android Package Kit, the file format Android uses to install applications. You can receive an APK from a website, file manager, USB drive, or another device instead of Google Play. This is called sideloading.
Android treats the source as untrusted until you grant that particular browser, downloader, or file manager permission to install unknown apps. On Android 8.0 and later, the permission is assigned per source app. Older Android versions use a broader Unknown sources setting. The file extension says nothing about the package’s publisher, security, content rights, or price.
What is Yacine TV?
Two materially different descriptions appear under the name.
The documented Google Play product
Yacine TV LLC’s verification page identifies Yacine TV – Live Scores with package com.yacinetvllc.yacinetvapp. Its stated functions include football scores, fixtures, standings, match information, news, predictions, and quizzes. The page says it does not provide unauthorized live broadcasts. See yacinetv.link/google-play-verification.html.
Third-party streaming APKs
Other domains using the Yacine TV name advertise free Arabic, international, and sports channels, sometimes including premium or encrypted services. Examples include yasinetv.com, yasinetv.com/en/about, and app.yasinetv.live. Their marketing claims are not proof that the feeds are licensed or that the sites belong to the same company.
Published specifications also conflict. One site claims version 3.1, 14.8 MB, Android 4.4 or newer, and a June 1, 2026 update; another lists version 3.0.0, 19 MB, and Android 5.0 or newer; an older-looking listing gives version V3, 7.3 MB, and Android 4.2 or newer. Sources: app.yasinetv.live, yacinestv.com/external-references, and yt.yacineapp.tv. These figures should not be treated as one universal “latest version.”
Is Yacine TV APK official, safe, or legal?
Official status
There is a documented Play-associated scores app, but that does not authenticate every APK carrying the Yacine TV name. Check all of the following before treating a package as genuine:
- Developer or publisher name and a verifiable support site.
- Exact package name, download domain, version, file size, and Android requirement.
- Digital signature or hash, if the publisher provides one.
- Whether the app’s actual behavior matches its stated purpose.
- A consistent distribution history rather than a newly created mirror.
A page calling itself “official” is only a claim. Current domains use similar branding while describing different products; see yasinetv.com/en/ and yacinestv.com/external-references.
Safety
Safety has not been independently established for the third-party streaming APKs. “100% safe,” “original,” and “virus-free” badges are marketing language. Sideloaded packages may be modified or repackaged and can contain malware, spyware, adware, credential theft, deceptive update prompts, aggressive redirects, or subscription scams.

Google warns that apps from unknown sources can damage a device, cause data loss, or compromise personal information. Play Protect can scan and warn about potentially harmful software, but it is not a guarantee of legitimacy or copyright compliance. See support.google.com/android/answer/9457058?hl=en.
Legality
Legality depends on the exact application, stream, country, broadcaster rights, and distribution method. A licensed free broadcast is different from a retransmitted premium channel supplied without authorization. An app’s disclaimer cannot prove that its channels are licensed.
U.S. Trade Representative materials from 2022 and 2024 identified Yacine TV as a piracy application and noted that copycats use the brand. Those documents provide an important historical rights-holder and enforcement perspective, not a ruling on every current domain or package. Sources: 2024 USTR materials and 2022 USTR materials.
How to check an APK before installing
- Identify the product. Decide whether you want the verified scores app or a streaming package. Do not assume they are related.
- Check the package identity. Compare the package name, publisher, domain, version, file size, and Android requirement across the publisher’s own documentation.
- Inspect permissions. A scores or video app should not normally need SMS, contacts, call logs, accessibility control, device-administrator status, or permission to install other apps.
- Scan the file. Use Play Protect and a reputable malware scanner. A clean scan does not establish ownership or licensing.
- Watch the download flow. Multiple redirects, deceptive buttons, forced browser extensions, VPNs, “activation” tools, or extra APKs are warning signs.
- Check the update path. A package with no stable publisher, support channel, or verifiable release history is difficult to trust.
One third-party page says live playback requires an additional “YV Player Pro” app. That is an unverified claim from that site, not a universal Yacine TV requirement; see app.yasinetv.live.

How to install an APK on an Android phone
Android 8.0 and newer
- Obtain the file only from a source whose identity and integrity you can verify.
- Open Settings and search for Install unknown apps. Depending on the manufacturer, it may be under Apps, Special app access, or Security.
- Select the browser or file manager that will open the APK and enable permission for that source.
- Open the file from Downloads.
- Review the publisher, package, and requested permissions. Cancel if they do not make sense.
- Install, run a Play Protect scan, and disable the source permission afterward.
Android 7.1.1 and older
The setting is usually Settings > Security > Unknown sources. These devices are more exposed because many no longer receive security updates; avoid using an unsupported phone for unknown APKs.
How to install an APK on Android TV or Google TV
Use Google Play first
Google’s normal path is Home > Apps > Google Play Store > search for the app > Install. Follow Google’s Android TV instructions. A phone APK may install on a television yet have no remote-friendly navigation, an unsuitable layout, or unsupported video codecs.
If you deliberately sideload
- Install a file manager or browser from Google Play.
- Transfer or download the APK.
- Open Settings > Apps and find Special app access or Install unknown apps.
- Allow only the specific browser, downloader, or file manager to install it.
- Open the file and confirm installation.
- Revoke the permission afterward. If the app is absent from the home screen, check the full app list or Settings > Apps.
- Uninstall it if the interface cannot be controlled with the remote. Do not add an unknown “mouse toggle” utility merely to make it usable.
Do not treat a downloader code published by a third-party site as a universal official method. For example, one site publishes code 2130981, but that code is controlled by the site and is not independently validated; see yasinetv.com/en/.
Other televisions and devices
- Fire TV: Fire OS is Android-derived, but its menus and permissions differ from Google TV; use Fire TV-specific instructions.
- Samsung and LG: Their standard proprietary TV platforms do not normally install ordinary Android APK files.
- Chromecast: Casting from a phone is not the same as installing an APK on Chromecast.
The Android TV platform information at android.com/intl/en_us/tv/ does not automatically apply to every branded “Smart TV.”

How to use Yacine TV after installation
Controls vary because packages using this name may be unrelated builds. In general:
- Open the app from the app drawer.
- Check whether it requests an account, permissions, an external player, or an update.
- Browse categories such as sports, channels, competitions, or fixtures.
- Select an event or channel and use the player’s pause, full-screen, audio, and quality controls where available.
- If several sources appear, prefer one clearly identified as an authorized broadcaster. A working stream is not proof of legality.
- Stop if the app opens unrelated browser tabs, demands an “activation” payment, or requests unusual permissions.
Common problems and safer recovery
“App not installed”
- Possible causes include an incompatible Android version, wrong CPU architecture, conflicting signature, insufficient storage, corrupt download, or a split package rather than a normal APK.
- Delete the file, check Android version and storage, and avoid repeatedly trying copies from random domains.
- Uninstall an existing build only if you accept losing its local settings. Do not install a “fixer” APK.
Parse error
The package may require a newer Android version, be damaged, use an incompatible format, or be modified. Confirm the requirement and source; do not lower device security or add a second parser tool.
No channels, black video, buffering, or no sound
Dead or geo-blocked servers, expired URLs, overloaded sources, unsupported codecs, missing DRM, and external-player dependencies can all cause playback failure. Test a legitimate streaming app on the same network. Clear cache only if you trust the app, and uninstall if redirects or suspicious prompts continue.
Unusual permission requests
Stop installation if a sports or scores app asks for SMS, contacts, call logs, accessibility control, device-administrator privileges, persistent notification access without a clear reason, or permission to install other apps. For free, ad-supported live television, Google lists built-in Google TV channels where available and providers including Pluto TV, Tubi, Plex, and Haystack News. Catalogs vary by country and device; see Google’s Android TV live-channel guide. Their official starting points are pluto.tv, tubitv.com, plex.tv, and haystack.tv.
For premium football, use the competition’s official broadcaster, a licensed live-TV provider, or the official free-to-air broadcaster in your country. Rights and prices change by territory and season, so no single service can be promised globally. If your goal is only scores and fixtures, the documented Yacine TV – Live Scores product is a more appropriate category than a streaming APK.
An app may be absent from Google Play because of compatibility, country availability, developer removal, or policy enforcement; absence alone does not prove piracy. Google explains these possibilities at support.google.com/googleplay/answer/15163227?hl=en.
Bottom line
Do not treat a random “Yacine TV APK download” page as authoritative. Verify the exact package and publisher first. The clearly documented Play product is a football scores app, while third-party sites use the same name for streaming packages whose ownership, safety, reliability, and rights are uncertain. If you need live sports or television, a licensed broadcaster or recognized Android TV provider is the safer choice.
