What does “Kama La Flor” mean?
It combines “Kama,” a shortening of Kamala, with “La Flor,” from the title of Selena’s song “Como La Flor.” The result invokes both Harris and the song in a brief piece of wordplay. A Zazzle product listing explicitly describes the connection.
What did the shirts look like?
The slogan appeared on more than one design. A version reported by the San Antonio Express-News paired a rose with the words “Latinos for Kamala Harris”; other designs showed Harris surrounded by flowers. These are distinct design treatments, not evidence of one official campaign shirt.
Where was the shirt listed, and what did it cost?
A Zazzle page titled “Kama La Flor 2024 T-Shirt” credits the design to Piotr Kowalczyk / Geek Updated and gives July 30, 2024, as its first-publication date. Its current availability has not been confirmed, so treat the page as a historical listing rather than a guarantee that the shirt can still be ordered.

On July 29, 2024, the San Antonio Express-News reported prices of $20 for T-shirts and $40 for sweatshirts. Those are prices reported at that time, not current prices or a reliable guide to what any listing costs today.
How to check a current listing
Availability and product details can change, so verify the exact listing before buying. Compare the printed design, garment type, size chart, material, seller, shipping terms, and current price. A search for “Kama La Flor” may return different designs or unrelated results; check the product images and description rather than relying on the phrase alone.

The cited reporting describes independent online sellers and says the original coiner of the phrase was unclear. It does not establish authorization by the Harris campaign, Selena’s estate, or the song’s rights holders. Do not assume a shirt is official or licensed merely because it uses Harris’s name or references “Como La Flor.”
