Rose from Two and a Half Men was played by New Zealand-born actor Melanie Lynskey. She now stars as adult Shauna in the drama Yellowjackets; the two roles show very different sides of a career spanning film and television.
Who played Rose on Two and a Half Men?
Melanie Lynskey joined Two and a Half Men in 2003 as Rose, Charlie Harper’s offbeat neighbor. She left the show’s cast in 2005, but continued returning as a guest actor until the sitcom ended in 2015, according to the Television Academy’s biography.

What is Melanie Lynskey doing now?
She plays adult Shauna in Yellowjackets
Lynskey’s prominent television role is adult Shauna in Yellowjackets. The series follows a high-school girls’ soccer team after a plane crash, showing both the survivors’ ordeal in the wilderness and their later lives. It is a tense drama, a sharp contrast with Rose’s comic role in a sitcom. Paramount’s official cast guide identifies Lynskey as adult Shauna.
